Is Saquon Barkley playing on Monday night? Fantasy injury update for Giants-Buccaneers Week 11 Monday Night Football (Updated) image

It's been a frustrating season for Saquon Barkley owners, but it looks like the star running back is trending toward a return on Monday Night Football against the Buccaneers. Given that he's playing in the last game on Week 11, fantasy football owners will be checking for injury updates all weekend as they finalize their start 'em, sit 'em decisions.

That's why we'll continue to update this article with news on Barkley up until the official active/inactive report comes out on Monday around 6:45 p.m. ET. For all the latest fantasy updates, follow us on Twitter @SN_Fantasy.

Is Saquon Barkley playing on Monday night?

UPDATED: Barkley is officially ACTIVE.

Barkley (ankle) was limited in practice all week, but it still seems likely he'll suit up for the first time since Week 5.

WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

There have been rumblings that Devontae Booker would cut into Barkley's workload even after the star RB returns, but considering Booker (hip) is also "questionable" after getting in a week of limited practices, it's tough to know how this backfield will be split. We're confident Barkley will still be lead ball-carrier and pass-catcher, which puts him in the RB2 range despite the tough matchup. As dominant as Tampa's run defense is, it's still frequently exploited by RBs through the air.

WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

If Barkley is out, Booker would once again see 15-plus touches and have flex value. If both backs are out, Gary Brightwell and Eli Penny would split carries. Obviously, these backs aren't recommended plays, but if you're counting on Barkley and he's a surprise scratch, those are your desperation pivots.
