Fantasy Football Injury Updates: Mark Andrews, Trey Burton impacting Week 2 start-or-sit decisions image

Fantasy football owners are already down one key tight end with Hunter Henry (knee) out for the foreseeable future, and two more likely starters, Mark Andrews and Trey Burton, are both "questionable" heading into Week 2. There isn't much on the TE waiver wire, so you can bet fantasy owners will have start 'em, sit 'em questions if either player is declared inactive.

We'll be here all morning and afternoon with the latest updates, so check back or follow us on Twitter (@SN_Fantasy). WEEK 2 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Is Mark Andrews playing Week 2?

UPDATE 2: Andrews is officially ACTIVE.

UPDATE 1: NFL Network's Ian Rapaport reports Andrews is expected to play.

Andrews (foot) was a surprise DNP on Friday and is listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against Arizona. Coach John Harbaugh implied Andrews would be fine for the game -- and based on the fact Mark Ingram and Hollywood Brown are also "questionable" despite being fully expected to play -- it's likely Andrews will see no restrictions.

After an 8-108-1 line against Miami in Week 1, fantasy owners are undoubtedly penciling Andrews into their lineups. It doesn't hurt that Arizona was torched for 131 yards and a TD by Lions rookie TE T.J. Hockenson last week. Andrews is safe to start as a TE1.

WEEK 2 PPR RANKINGS: Running back | Wide receiverTight end

Is Trey Burton in Week 2?

UPDATE: Burton is officially ACTIVE.

Burton (groin) managed to get in limited practices this week and is listed as "questionable" for Sunday's late-afternoon game against Denver.

Week 2 DFS Lineups:
FD Cash | FD GPP | DK Cash | DK GPPY! Cash | Y! GPP

Given the late start, the backup options are limited. Ryan Griffin (vs. Browns) is by far the best late-game/prime-time game option, and that's only because of his matchup. Adam Shaheen would be Burton's real-life replacement, but he only saw two targets in a starting role in Week 1. You could also take a shot on Tyler Higbee (vs. Saints) or Noah Fant (vs. Bears) as desperation plays. The best move is to not count on Burton and grab either Vernon Davis (vs. Cowboys) or C.J. Uzomah (vs. 49ers).
