Fantasy Injury Updates: Joe Mixon, Le'Veon Bell, Mark Ingram affecting Week 2 start 'em, sit 'em calls image

Is there anything worse than RB1s being "questionable" heading into Sunday's slate of games? How about if one plays on Monday night? Joe Mixon, Mark Ingram, and Le'Veon Bell all have the dreaded "Q" tags in Week 2, and while it looks like two will play for sure, one will come down to a game-time decision. That means lots of nervous fantasy football owners searching for injury updates, scouring running back rankings, and questioning their start 'em, sit 'em decisions right up until the last minute.

We'll be here to help all morning with the latest news, so check back for updates or follow us on Twitter (@SN_Fantasy). Is Joe Mixon playing Week 2?

UPDATE 2: Mixon is officially ACTIVE.

UPDATE 1: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Mixon "plans" to play, but he'll test out his ankle in pregame warmups before making a final decision.

After missing most of the second half last Sunday and all of practice early this week, Mixon (ankle) returned for a Bengals walk-through practice on Friday and is listed as "questionable" for this week's game against San Francisco.

His status is truly up in the air, but it seems likely he would see fewer snaps than usual even if he did start. Giovani Bernard is a worthwhile RB2 if Mixon is out and a potential PPR FLEX even if he's active. Given the matchup, we'd roll with Mixon as at least a FLEX in both standard and PPR leagues if he's out there.

Is Le'Veon Bell playing Monday night?

Bell got an MRI on his shoulder earlier in the week, but after it came back clean, he told reported he'd be "good to go" for Monday night's game against Cleveland. He got in a limited practice on Friday and is officially listed as "questionable".

Obviously, Bell's official status won't be known until Monday night, but it certainly appears as if he'll play and be without restrictions. He's a high-upside RB1, as usual.

Mark Ingram injury update

UPDATE: Ingram is officially ACTIVE.

Ingram (shoulder) is "questionable" for Sunday's game against Arizona, but after getting in full practices on Thursday and Friday, it would be a shock if he doesn't play.

Arizona was one of the worst defenses against RBs last year, but it had a surprisingly decent day against Kerryon Johnson and the Lions in Week 1. Even so, we rank Ingram as a borderline RB1 in Baltimore's run-heavy attack.
