Is Damien Harris playing on Monday night? Fantasy injury update for Bills-Patriots (Updated) image

Monday Night Football takes on extra importance in Week 16, at least in fantasy football leagues. Your entire season might be on the line, which means you don't want to take any unnecessary risks. When a player like Damien Harris is "questionable," as he is for the Patriots showdown against the Bills, it creates the ultimate start 'em, sit 'em headache. Should you wait it out and hope he plays, or should you play it safe and put in someone else? Either way, knowing the latest injury updates is crucial as you try to bring home a title.

We'll continue to update this post with news on Harris up until the active/inactive report comes out on Monday at about 6:45 p.m. ET. For all the latest fantasy updates, follow us on Twitter @SN_Fantasy.

Is Damien Harris playing on Monday night?

UPDATE: Harris is officially OUT.

Harris (ankle) was limited in practice all week, which would usually be a good sign, but he was limited all of last week, too, before being a surprise scratch. With the Patriots out of the playoff picture, fantasy owners can't count on Harris playing.

WEEK 16 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Because this game is on Monday night, it would be a major risk to keep Harris in your lineup. If you do, you need a potential replacement from this game. Sony Michel would be the obvious pivot, as he would receive the bulk of New England's carries, but Zack Moss (owned in 53 percent of Yahoo leagues) would also be a great option. James White (51 percent) could also potentially work in PPR leagues. Assuming you'd have Harris in your flex spot, you could also opt for a WR like John Brown, Jakobi Meyers, or Gabriel Davis.

WEEK 16 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Ultimately, Harris would be a solid flex if he's active, but given the importance of Week 16 fantasy matchups, holding out for him doesn't make sense unless you have one of the players mentioned above and no other worthwhile bench options from Sunday's games.
