Is Amari Cooper playing on Thursday night? Fantasy injury update for Cowboys-Saints Week 13 Thursday Night Football (Updated) image

Amari Cooper has missed the Cowboys' past two games after being placed on the reserve/COVID list, and there has been some uncertainty about whether he's playing in Week 13. Ahead of the Cowboys-Saints Thursday Night Football game, Cooper's outlook has a big effect on start 'em, sit 'em decisions, so we'll be here every step of the way providing the latest updates.

We'll continue to update this article with news on Cooper up until the official active/inactive report comes out on Thursday around 6:50 p.m. ET. For all the latest fantasy updates, follow us on Twitter @SN_Fantasy.

UPDATE: Cooper is officially ACTIVE.

Cooper has been activated off of the reserve/COVID list and is expected to play on Thursday despite being listed as "questionable." It doesn't look like there's worry about a "setback" despite Cooper's nagging symptoms, but as always, we'll dive into all of the possible outcomes.

WEEK 13 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

It's worth noting CeeDee Lamb has been a full participant on Monday and Tuesday after missing last week's game because of a concussion, so he should be active and off the injury report. Lamb and Cooper will immediately rejoin the "must-start", especially against the Saints defense that ranks in the bottom five against fantasy WRs.

WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

You should also consider playing Michael Gallup in the flex after he showed last week that he's fully healthy and ready to be productive for your fantasy roster. If for some bizarre reason either Lamb or Cooper are out, Gallup moves into the "must-start" category and Malik Turner becomes an attractive flex piece if he's active.

WEEK 13 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Again, both the Cowboys star wideouts should play. In this matchup, it wouldn't be surprising for both of them to be WR1s. It would be more surprising if neither ended up inside the top-12 for the week. The Saints are the No. 1 team against RBs and a terrible team against WRs, so this sets up to be a nuclear game for Dak Prescott and his pass-catchers.
