Late-week injury report downgrades are never good, especially when it's for a star player on Monday Night Football. However, that's the situation with A.J. Brown ahead of the Bills-Titans showdown. He's now "questionable" because of an illness. Is A.J. Brown playing on Monday night?

UPDATE: Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky reported Monday afternoon that Brown will play Monday night against Buffalo.

UPDATE 2: Brown is officially ACTIVE

It was announced on Sunday that Brown (illness) was downgraded to "questionable" for Monday night's showdown against the Bills. This came a few days after Brown, who's been dealing with a sore hamstring for a few weeks, told reporters that the Titans won't give him a full complement of snaps until Week 10.

WEEK 7 WAIVER WIRE: Top pickups

There are a lot of unknowns with this entire situation, but despite the tough matchup, illness, and sore hamstring, Brown is a must-start if he's active (especially given the late notice of his downgrade). Brown owners should grab someone like Gabriel Davis, Josh Reynolds, Chester Rogers, or Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to sub in if Brown is a surprise scratch, especially given the precariousness of his availability.

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

If Brown is out, Julio Jones should see a big uptick in targets. The Bills have one of the top defenses in the league, but Derrick Henry can only run so much. The Titans secondary receivers could really be ranked in any order, as they've all had their moments and disappeared, so flip a coin and take your pick. Westbrook-Ikhine might narrowly be the best option this week.
