Fantasy WR PPR Rankings Week 7: Who to start, sit at wide receiver in fantasy football image

This far into the season, we now have plenty of target data to help us with our Week 7 fantasy WR PPR rankings. When deciding who to start at wide receiver -- especially in a week with six teams on bye -- passing volume along with target share can serve as tiebreakers beyond just looking at matchups.

Typical starting WRs on bye this week including Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders, Chase Claypool, Diontae Johnson, and Marvin Jones. In PPR leagues, even guys like Laviska Shenault Jr. and Cole Beasley have had value this year. It's tough to replace that many high-volume pass-catchers.

WEEK 7 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Jakobi Meyers (vs. Jets), Jaylen Waddle and DeVante Parker, (vs. Falcons), Christian Kirk, A.J. Green, and Rondale Moore (vs. Texans), and Darnell Mooney (vs. Buccaneers) look like some of the more attractive PPR options on the start-or-sit bubble. Meyers caught just four passes for 38 yards in his first matchup with New York, but his 24.6-percent target share indicates he should bounce back for round two. Who knows, maybe he'll even get his first career touchdown.

WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

You can really consider any of the Cardinals' WR against Houston, but at least one of them will probably bust with so many mouths to feed. Mooney has been up and down, but he's drawn at least five targets in every game except one this season and Justin Fields looks his way more than any other Bears' pass-catcher. Parker was seeing more consistent targets before his shoulder and hamstring injuries, and Waddle has had a couple double-digit target games this season. With Tua Tagovailoa back, both have upside if they're healthy.

WEEK 7 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Similarly, Henry Ruggs (vs. Eagles) has been productive in certain spots this year, but Philly is a top-10 unit against WRs despite giving up a nuclear performance to Tyreek Hill. Hunter Renfrow remains the safer Raiders' WR to start this week in PPR.

WEEK 7 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo

Jamison Crowder (@ Patriots) is surely a concern against one of the league's best defenses, but there's a chance he could get cheap and easy PPR points. In a week like this, he's still a PPR flex. If Jarvis Landry (vs. Broncos) returns, he's in a similar spot as Crowder. Tyler Boyd (@ Ravens) looks to have a tough matchup, too, and his production has been spotty when must-starts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are both active. It seems like Baltimore has been awful on defense, but they've actually been a top-five unit against WRs and shut down the Chargers' pass-catchers in Week 6. Boyd is a risky play this week.

Tre'Quan Smith (@ Seahawks) may return this week, and the matchup couldn't get much better. However, he's risky in his first games back from a hamstring injury. Marquez Callaway, who's been more bad than good this year, is the "safer" play there, but Deonte Harris also has some sneaky upside if Smith remain out.

In PPR leagues, players can be somewhat productive even in a tough matchup. We know a guy like Renfrow can catch eight passes for 52 yards, and it will be a solid PPR day but a mediocre standard league performance. Just know which players are better for PPR leagues, especially in a week with a ton of guys off the table.
