Fantasy Injury Updates: Latest news on Damien Williams, Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson affecting Week 6 start 'em, sit 'em decisions image

Damien Williams, Tyreek Hill, and Justin Jefferson are all in question for Week 6, and their statuses will certainly affect fantasy rankings and start 'em, sit 'em decisions. Williams is on the wrong side of things after being placed on the reserve/COVID list, while Hill's availability could go either way. Jefferson is at least trending in the right direction. Is Damien Williams playing Week 6?

Williams has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, which means Khalil Herbert would assume workhorse role against Green Bay if Williams doesn't return two negative tests 24 hours apart. We don't know if Williams tested positive himself or was a close contact, nor do we know if he's vaccinated, so it's tough to say for sure what his situation is.

The Packers have been a mixed bag against fantasy RBs, but they did allow Bengals backup RB, Samaje Perine, to have a solid day. Perine had 15 touches for 83 yards and a touchdown, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Herbert have a similar line, if not a better one. Herbert received 18 carries last week, and he should be in line for receiving work without Wiliams in the picture. That said, 20-plus touches should almost be the expectation.

Herbert now moves to a flex consideration, at worst, but has RB2 upside given the matchup. It's tough to tell after only one week of film on him.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Tyreek Hill injury update

UPDATE: Hill got in a limited practice on Friday and is officially "questionable" for Sunday's game.

Hill (quad) was sidelined during the Chiefs' Wednesday and Thursday practices. As one of the top players in all of fantasy football, this is obviously big news. We don't know much about his situation or if it will threaten his gameday availability, but we'll monitor his situation.

If he's out. Mecole Hardman, Josh Gordon, and Byron Pringle are the three receivers that would contend for his vacated targets. Hardman would be the top option, as he drew caught nine-of-12 targets for 76 yards against Buffalo. If Hill does play, he's our No. 3 WR in standard and PPR leagues going against an atrocious Washington defense.

Justin Jefferson injury update

UPDATE: Jefferson isn't on the Vikings' final injury report, signifying he'll be good to go against the Panthers.

Jefferson (ankle) missed practice Wednesday and will be limited for Thursday's practice. However, there's no indication he has a real chance to miss Sunday's game against Carolina. If fact, Jefferson said he expects to play against the Panthers.

WEEK 6 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo

If he suffers a setback, K.J Osborn should take a lot of the targets. But again, that is far from the expectation. That said, Jefferson ranks as our WR10 in standard and WR9 in PPR.
