Julio Jones injury update

UPDATE: Jones practiced in full on Friday and seems likely to play on Monday night.

After not practicing at all last week, Jones (hamstring) took the practice field Wednesday in the lead-up to the Monday night game against Buffalo. The fact he's practicing is promising, as the Titans have taken it slow with his recovery. He's dealt with soft tissues injuries over the past few seasons, so we knew he'd be a candidate to miss some games.

This game isn't until Monday, so we have more time to see what his status is, but he hasn't played in 20 days, so the rest should prove to be beneficial. It's tough to think Tennessee would play him at all if the injury risk was high, so we can expect him to be full-go if he's active.

That said, he'll face a tough Buffalo defense, but Tennessee should have to pass to keep up with Josh Allen's offense in this game. We rank Jones as our WR18 in standard and WR22 in PPR. It's tough to know which Titans' pass-catcher to target if Jones is out, with none of them having consistent production in his absence thus far. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers, and Josh Reynolds are the next three guys at WR, though.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Mike Williams injury update

UPDATE: Williams didn't practice all week but is still officially "questionable" for Sunday's game. He'll be a game-time decision.

Williams (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, and his status warrants monitoring moving forward. As it sits now, he is the No. 2 WR in fantasy football, so it would be tough to find a replacement if he's out. Baltimore usually has a solid defense, but they've been torched on multiple occasions this year and Williams has brought too much to the table to bench him if he's active. Jalen Guyton and Josh Palmer would step in if he's out, but Jared Cook and Keenan Allen would likely be the biggest beneficiaries.

For Week 6, we rank Williams as the WR15 in standard and WR18 in PPR. He has shown his ceiling is as high as a top-three play, though.

Sterling Shepard injury update

UPDATE: Shepard practiced again on Thursday, so he's trending towards playing against the Rams. Darius Slayton also practiced.

UPDATE 2: Shepard is not on the Giants injury report, signifying he's good to go against the Rams.

Shepard (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity. He had a hot start to the season before missing the past two weeks, but his participation in practice is a good sign. Kadarius Toney's emergence shouldn't hurt Shepard, as there will be plenty of work to go around, especially if Kenny Golladay (see below) is out. Daniel Jones (concussion) looks like he has a solid chance to play, so you can confidently put Shepard in your lineups. If Jones is out, Shepard is a little bit riskier.

We rank him as the WR33 in standard and WR34 in PPR leagues against the Rams.

Kenny Golladay injury update

UPDATE: Golladay remained out for Thursday's practice. He's trending toward being inactive for this game and could be ruled out any time soon.

Golladay (knee) is likely to be listed as "doubtful," as the initial report was he'd be week-to-week. He didn't practice Wednesday and he's trending toward being out. For all intents and purposes, we project Golladay will be out for Week 6. Wheels up for Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard, though. The Rams' defense hasn't been as good as expected and the Giants had no issue moving the ball against a tough Saints' defense.

That said, if Golladay does play, it's tough to think he'll be healthy, and Toney or Shepard feel like better options.
