James Robinson injury update

UPDATE: Jaguars coach Urban Meyer said Tuesday that he thinks Robinson will play this week.

Robinson (heel) was ruled out for Week 9 and could be in question heading into Week 10. Until practice reports come out, we don't have much information, but we do know he'll have a tough road against the Colts' defense. Indianapolis has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to RBs and has surrendered just two rushing touchdowns to the position on the season.

All that said, Robinson is still a must-start if he plays due to his workload, but we aren't expecting RB1 numbers this week. We rank him as the RB13 in PPR and RB14 in standard leagues based on the matchup. There is a scenario he could thrive in PPR leagues with a ton of dump downs, but the Colts haven't allowed much receiver work to running backs either. If Robinson is out again, Carlos Hyde will once again dominate touches and have flex value.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Latavius Murray injury update

Murray (ankle) was listed as 'DNP" for the Ravens' Monday walkthrough. Given the fact Baltimore plays Thursday night, his chances to suiting up seem low, which would mean Devonta Freeman is the most attractive back in this offense. Against Minnesota, Freeman handled 57 percent of the Ravens' RB touches and averaged 6.1 yards/carry to Le'Veon Bell's 4.4 average. Additionally, Freeman added two catches for four yards and a touchdown. If Baltimore opts to split the workload evenly with Freeman and Bell, Freeman is still a solid fantasy play based on his efficiency and pass-catching ability.

If Murray does play, this will be a three-back committee and none of them will rank better than an RB3, even in this highly favorable matchup.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Clyde Edwards-Helaire injury update

Andy Reid said CEH (knee) is "closer to returning," but all indications point toward him being out another few weeks -- perhaps up until the Chiefs' Week 12 bye.

Darrel Williams will remain the starter in Kansas City, and we rank him as the RB20 in standard and RB18 in PPR leagues. Las Vegas is a bottom-10 unit against fantasy RBs, but Williams hasn't been able to produce big numbers consistently in a struggling offense. He can get it done with volume, though.

Kareem Hunt injury update

Hunt (calf) landed on injured reserve three weeks ago, so while he's eligible to return this week against New England, his original timetable of four-to-six weeks means he's unlikely to do that. We don't expect him to be back just yet, so there should be another healthy workload for Nick Chubb.

New England is a league-average defense in terms of fantasy points allowed to RBs, but it has given up just two rushing touchdowns this season and not allowed a 100-yard rusher. The Pats have allowed a good amount of receiving work to RBs, though. Chubb doesn't excel in that area, so his expectations should be lowered a bit this week. We place him as the RB11 in standard and RB14 in PPR leagues. A multiple touchdown game is in his range of outcomes, though, which could obviously put him as an RB1 for the week.
