As Week 6 approaches, a handful of fantasy-relevant TEs are dealing with nagging injuries, potentially holding them out of game action. Is Kyle Pitts playing Week 6?

UPDATE: Pitts is officially ACTIVE.

Pitts (hamstring) is expected to make his return to the field for Atlanta's Week 6 home matchup against San Francisco. Even with Pitts looking like he'll be back on the field, he remains a risky starter in all formats, as he's failed to eclipse 30 receiving yards in three of four games so far this season and he's facing the No. 2 TE defense.

Arthur Smith's utilization of the former No. 4 overall pick is pretty baffling, but with Darren Waller and T.J. Hockenson on bye and Pat Freiermuth (concussion) already ruled out, Pitts is tough to sit. He has more upside in PPR leagues, but consider him a low-end TE1.

Is Tyler Higbee playing Week 6?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning that Higbee is expected to play against Carolina.

UPDATE 2: Higbee is officially ACTIVE.

Higbee (ankle) carries a "questionable" tag entering the Rams' Week 6 home matchup with the Panthers. Higbee practiced on Thursday and Friday in a limited fashion, boosting his prospects of suiting up this week.

Higbee's been one of the more underrated TEs in fantasy through five weeks, entering Sunday leading all TEs in targets (48) and receptions (33) while commanding a 25.3-percent target share (second among TEs). If Higbee ends up being a surprise inactive, no other Rams' TEs are worth starting, as WRs Cooper Kupp, Ben Skowronek, and Allen Robinson figure to see an uptick in usage.

Is Dawson Knox playing Week 6?

UPDATE: Knox is officially ACTIVe.

Despite being limited in practice all week, Knox (foot, hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation leading into the Bills' Week 6 showdown against the Chiefs.

Knox missed the Bills' 38-3 rout over the Steelers last week, and his presence will be a much-needed boost for a Bills team looking to assert themselves as the team to beat in the AFC. Knox sits as a low-end TE1 and should be in fantasy lineups despite failing to eclipse 50 receiving yards while being kept out of the end zone.

Is Hayden Hurst playing Week 6?

UPDATE: Hurst is officially ACTIVE.

Hurst (groin) is listed as "questionable" entering the Bengals' Week 6 road matchup against the Saints, according to the team's official injury report.

Hurst practiced in a limited fashion every day this week. He's scored double-digit fantasy points in back-to-back weeks in PPR formats and sits as a borderline TE1 in all formats. If he's a surprise scratch, expect even more targets for Cincinnati's wide receivers.
