Is Davante Adams playing Week 8?

UPDATE: ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Adams is expected to play against the Saints.

UPDATE 2: Adams if officially ACTIVE.

Adams (illness) carries a "questionable" tag ahead of Las Vegas' Week 8 road matchup against New Orleans, according to the team's official injury report. Adams missed the Raiders' Wednesday and Thursday practice sessions but returned to practice on Friday, boosting his chances of playing this Sunday.

Adams enters Week 8 with the fourth-highest target share (32 percent) and second-most red-zone targets among WRs (13). A juicy matchup against a Saints defense allowing the sixth-most FPPG to wide receivers (32) coupled with the fact cornerback Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) is already ruled out sets Adams up for a potential monster game. Fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned about his playing status, but if he's a surprise scratch, look for an increased target share for pass catchers Darren Waller (hamstring), Hunter Renfrow, and Mack Hollins (heel).

Is Amon-Ra St. Brown playing Week 8?

UPDATE: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that St. Brown is expected to play against Miami.

UPDATE 2: St. Brown is officially ACTIVE.

St. Brown (concussion protocol) practiced in full to end the week but is still listed as "questionable," according to the team's official injury report. He's yet to clear concussion protocol, but if he clears, the second-year wideout will play this week.

St. Brown and the Lions draw a fairly leaky Dolphins secondary allowing the eighth-most FPPG to wide receivers (30.2). St. Brown sports the second-highest target rate (34.5 percent) while also racking up the second most fantasy points per route run (0.69). He's a must-start if active, but if St. Brown is held out, look for an increased target share for fellow pass-catchers Khalif Raymond, T.J. Hockenson, and Josh Reynolds.

Raymond and Reynolds garner flex appeal in PPR formats while Hockenson is a virtual must-start at TE despite his inconsistency.
