Amon-Ra St. Brown injury update, Week 5 fantasy outlook

St. Brown (ankle) got banged up in Detroit's 28-24 Week 3 loss to Minnesota and then failed to practice the week ahead of the Lions' Week 4 matchup against Seattle prior to being ruled "out" on Friday. In his absence, fellow Lions' pass-catchers T.J. Hockenson, Josh Reynolds, and Tom Kennedy saw increased roles in the offense, with Hockenson leading all Lions in receiving (eight receptions, 179 yards, two TDs).

We'll get a better feel for St. Brown's Week 5 status once the Lions release their initial injury report on Wednesday. Should St. Brown return to practice on Wednesday, he looks to be on track to make his return to the field for the Lions' Week 5 road tilt in New England. St. Brown remains a WR1 in both standard and PPR formats.

Keenan Allen injury update, Week 5 fantasy outlook

Allen (hamstring) missed his third straight game dealing with a hamstring injury that he suffered in Los Angeles' Week 1 matchup against Las Vegas. Allen returned to practice this past week but aggravated the injury. Head coach Brandon Staley called Allen "day-to-day" on Monday, and it's unclear whether he'll return in Week 5.

If Allen were to miss his fourth straight game, fellow pass-catchers Mike Williams and Gerald Everett remain must-starts, and Josh Palmer remains a borderline WR3. If Allen does return, Williams and Everett should be in fantasy manager's starting lineups regardless, while Palmer is likely relegated to the bench.

Michael Thomas injury update, Week 5 fantasy outlook

Thomas (toe) missed the Saints' 28-25 win over Minnesota in London after failing to practice throughout the week.

We still don't know if Thomas will be ready to go for Week 5 against the Seahawks, but if he's able to practice in a limited fashion, he has a shot. If Thomas can't go for a second-straight week, WR Chris Olave remains a must-start, but you can't really trust any of New Orleans' other options, especially given the Saints' QB Issues right now.
