Chris Godwin and the Buccaneers seem to have a hamstring injury problem. A week after Mike Evans injured his hamstring, Godwin and Scotty Miller both hurt their hamstrings in last week. Heading into Week 16 and many fantasy football championship games, the Bucs might be looking at Breshad Perriman and Justin Watson as their top two WRs, making them both waiver wire targets.

Is Chris Godwin playing Week 16?
Matters are complicated by the fact that Tampa Bay plays Saturday afternoon in Week 16. Monday morning, Ian Rapoport reported that the Buccaneers aren't expecting to have Godwin in Week 16. That's after Bruce Arians told reporters after last Sunday's game that Godwin's injury "doesn't look good." There were no post-game comments specifically regarding Miller.
MORE WEEK 16: Top waiver pickups
Breshad Perriman, Justin Watson worth waiver pickups
As of right now, we'd expect Perriman and Watson to be Tampa Bay's top two WRs in Week 16 in a favorable matchup against the Texans. The former first-rounder Perriman is coming off three touchdowns in Week 15, a couple of which came before Godwin was injured. He'll presumably be Jameis Winston's top target and a borderline WR2 in a pass-happy offense. Watson, too, deserves at least FLEX consideration in the good matchup after he showed his chops two weeks ago when he caught five-of-eight targets for 59 yards and a score. Tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate will also be involved.

If somehow Miller were to recover from his hamstring injury but not Godwin, he'd complicate things for Watson. Miller caught a touchdown Sunday before leaving the game, and Winston has shown he likes him throughout the season. Expect Perriman to be the top play here regardless, and the one you should definitely target with a high waiver claim or FAAB bid this week.
