Fantasy Injury Updates: Austin Hooper reportedly to 'miss some time', creates void in TE rankings image

Austin Hooper sprained his knee Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport, and will get an MRI on Monday to determine the severity. Rapoport suggested that Hooper will "miss some time." The Falcons' TE has the most receptions at his position this season with 56. Hoopers' injury will force fantasy owners to waiver wire in search of tight end sleepers to get them through this rough patch. Get the latest updates and fill-in suggestions below.

WEEK 11 NON-PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

How long will Austin Hooper be out?

Hooper's status probably won't be certain until later in the week. The MRI that he's expected to get could be reported on as soon as Monday, though, which would give an idea before fantasy football waivers run this week as to what to do if you own Hooper. Unless he's expected to miss the rest of the season, you have to hold him on your bench because of how good he's been when healthy.

WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS: Running backWide receiver | Tight end

The Falcons' other TEs are Luke Stocker and Jaeden Graham. Stocker has nine targets on the season to Graham's two. Stocker has also played more snaps than Graham in every week this season and should step in if Hooper is out.

WEEK 11 WAIVER WIRE: Top pickups

Stocker isn't the best option to pick up at tight end, though. You'd be better off targeting Ross Dwelley (assuming George Kittle remains out), Kyle Rudolph, Darren Fells, or Noah Fant well ahead of Stocker, and after this week's bye, one of Tennessee's TEs (Jonnu Smith or Delanie Walker) would be in play, too. If you're planning to stream on a week-to-week basis, Tyler Eifert (eight-percent owned in Yahoo leagues), T.J. Hockenson (53) and Vance McDonald (56) are solid Week 11 plays in favorable matchups against the Raiders, Cowboys, and Browns, respectively.
