Whether you won or lost in the opening week of the fantasy football season, it's time to move forward. One week doesn't define your season (good or bad), and it's time to put the first game in the rearview and gear up for the week ahead. Our Week 2 fantasy WR PPR rankings serve as a guide to help you navigate your wide receiver start 'em, sit 'em decisions and ultimately earn a "W" when it's all said and done.
Again, we urge you not to overreact to a one-game sample, as the parity within today's NFL results in plenty of week-to-week variance. We understand your frustrations with Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Tyler Lockett, Christian Kirk, and Drake London (among others), but it's a long season. All that matters is that each of your wideouts logged a high snap share and remains a trusted option for their respective QBs. The results will come, trust us.
With that in mind, let's look at the biggest risers, fallers, studs, and sleepers at fantasy's deepest position.

Who are the best fantasy WRs Week 2?
Tyreek Hill (@ Patriots) started his season with a bang, leading all WRs in PPR formats following his 11-catch, 215-yard, two-TD showing, living up to his goal of reaching 2,000 receiving yards. While there's an argument to be made for Hill as the top-ranked WR this week, we still give Justin Jefferson (@ Eagles) the slight nod, as Jaylen Waddle (@ Patriots) is always a threat to cut into Hill's target share.
WEEK 2 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Despite our nitpickiness, not much separates our top two WRs in Week 2. We're not too worried about Ja'Marr Chase (vs. Ravens) and the Bengals offense moving forward despite their three-point effort against the Browns. We're attributing that to an improved Browns defense, poor weather conditions, and Joe Burrow's lack of snaps this preseason.
WEEK 2 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Davante Adams (@ Bills) didn't post nearly as solid of a fantasy day as fellow WR Jakobi Meyers (@ Bills), but he's still the go-to option for Jimmy Garoppolo. With Meyer's (head) status uncertain for Week 2, expect a more Adams-like fantasy showing. Amon-Ra St. Brown (vs. Seahawks) will remain one of the most reliable PPR wideouts, as will A.J. Brown (vs. Vikings).
Who are the best fantasy WR sleepers, waiver pickups Week 2?
Rams' rookie Puka Nacua (vs. 49ers) was a target hog in his NFL debut, drawing 15 targets in the Rams 30-13 upset in Seattle. With Cooper Kupp out until at least Week 5, Nacua's a priority waiver add as the L.A.'s new-look WR1. Tutu Atwell (vs. 49ers) led the Rams in receiving on seven fewer targets, but much of that was aided by a 44-yard reception, so we're not as excited about him against San Francisco. Nacua profiles as a WR3 in PPR leagues.
Kendrick Bourne (vs. Dolphins) was a preferred target of Mac Jones, warranting a waiver claim (and potential flex spot) ahead of Week 2. Romeo Doubs (@ Falcons), Zay Jones (vs. Chiefs), and Rashid Shaheed (@ Panthers) will also be popular pickups this week, but Doubs is likely the only one worth playing this week.
Zay Flowers (@ Bengals) and Nico Collins (vs. Colts) are owned in more than 50 percent of leagues, so they're not exactly "pickups," but both saw frequent targets in Week 1 and have flex appeal this week.
Who are the biggest potential WR busts Week 2?
We could see Jordan Addison (@ Eagles) fail to replicate his Week 1 showing in a significantly tougher matchup against a well-rounded Eagles secondary. We're worried about Allen Lazard's (@ Cowboys) effectiveness against what was a lockdown Dallas secondary in Week 1, so consider leaving him on your bench rather than trot him out as a flex.
It's easy to say avoid Kadarius Toney (@ Jaguars) in Week 2, but there's a real chance his snap share decreases, hindering his opportunities to redeem himself after a poor showing in Week 1. Ditto for Skyy Moore (@ Jaguars). We'd also be careful with preseason bubble receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (vs. Dolphins), Odell Beckham Jr. (@ Bengals), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (@ Lions), and Adam Thielen (vs. Saints).
What are the biggest WR injuries Week 2?
Look for Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) to make his season debut against Washington in Week 2, but his situation will once again bear watching. On the flip side, we don't expect DJ Chark (hamstring) or Christian Watson (hamstring) to return to the field in Week 2, but a couple of limited sessions in practice this week could change our minds.
We're also skeptical that Jakobi Meyers (head) or Diontae Johnson (hamstring) will suit up in Week 2, as both wideouts will likely land on their team's injury report in the coming days. It's worth noting that Mike Williams and Tyler Lockett exited their respective Week 1 games with head injuries, but both wideouts returned to game action and are listed in our Week 2 WR rankings.
We'll be updating these WR PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
