Fantasy Football Trade Advice: Rhamondre Stevenson, Cordarrelle Patterson among top buy-low, sell-high candidates heading into Week 12 image

The trade deadline has passed in some fantasy football leagues, but there are still quite a few where you can wheel and deal. If you can still swap players, take advantage. Injuries are mounting, favorable/unfavorable matchups are becoming clearer, and depth is beyond important. Finding the perfect trade targets and trade partners is never easy, but we're coming up on final call to buy low and sell high. Fortunately, FantasyPros is here to help with tips and trade advice in their Week 12 Stock Watch that includes Rhamondre Stevenson, Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, Devin Singletary, Garrett Wilson, and Cordarrelle Patterson, among others.

Despite a brief respite from the byes in Week 12, we still have the Panthers and Cardinals off in Week 13 and Byepocalype 2.0 in Week 14 with the Falcons, Bears, Packers, Commanders, Colts, and Saints all taking their mandatory PTO. That will leave holes in many lineups as teams battle for postseason berths/positioning, so now's the time to try to shore things up. Hopefully, other owners will be lulled into a false sense of security by this week's full schedule.

Regardless of your bye-week situation, you could always use more depth and options with favorable matchups. Injuries will definitely affect things over the final month of the season, so targeting backup RBs and bubble WRs is a cheap way to improve your chances if you can't pull off a blockbuster.

Week 12 Fantasy Trade Advice: Buy-low trade candidates

By Andrew Erickson, Fantasy Pros

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots. Is Stevenson still a bellcow? He dominated the touches relative to Damien Harris in Week 11 (21 vs. 10), but Harris rushed for more yards (65 no 10 carries). Stevenson rushed for just 26 yards on 15 carries but led the way with six catches (six targets) for 56 receiving yards. Stevenson also played 78 percent of the snaps and ran a route on 79 percent of drop-backs. He'll be fine going forward, so try to acquire him if you can.

Garrett Wilson, WR, Jets. Wilson finished with just two grabs for 12 yards despite running a route on 100 percent of drop-backs in Week 11. Wilson is an intriguing buy-low target should the Jets decide to make a QB change. His upcoming schedule of Bears, Vikings, Bills, Lions, Jaguars, and Seahawks is also ideal.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Commanders. McLaurin was Washington’s target leader (7) in Week 11, but he caught just four balls for 55 yards. He also had over 100 air yards (51-percent air yards share). Down games can happen when your QB completes just 15 passes. However, I would be sending buy-low offers aggressively with TMC taking on Atlanta in Week 12. Since Taylor Heinicke took over as QB1, McLaurin owns a 30-percent target share and a 50-percent air yards share. He's also averaging six catches, 93 receiving yards, and 16.8 PPR points per game.

Week 12 Fantasy Trade Advice: Sell-high trade candidates

Cordarrelle Patterson, RB, Falcons. Not only did Patterson lead the Falcons backfield in carries (10), but he also scored a kick return TD, breaking the record previously held by Josh Cribbs. C-Patt totaled 12 touches (two targets, 49-percent snap share) to Tyler Allgeier's nine (one target, 55-percent snap share).  However, Patterson’s opportunity share of 52 percent and 42-percent route participation (same as Allgeier) wasn’t great, so I’d strongly consider selling high because his efficient play without backed-up volume will give him a dangerously low fantasy floor. Marcus Mariota is always a threat to take TDs in the red zone, making Patterson that much tougher to rely on. The next matchup against Washington is also horrible.

Curtis Samuel, WR, Commanders. Samuel earned just two targets and caught one pass for 10 yards in Week 11, but he scored a rushing TD, so other owners might think he had a better week than he actually did. But be aware that Jahan Dotson leap-frogged him in snaps and routes run. Sell Samuel. In his past four games, he is averaging 3.5 targets.

WEEK 12 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Devin Singletary, RB, Bills. Singletary totaled 18 carries for 86 yards and scored while also adding in two catches in Week 11. That's a 57-percent opportunity share, 80-percent route participation, and 72-percent snap share. Over the past two weeks, he has seven carries inside the 10-yard line (four in Week 11) and three rushing TDs. Josh Allen has zero carries inside the 10-yard line in that span. It’s clear that Singletary is still viewed as the team's RB1 and the increased looks inside the red zone have expanded his fantasy ceiling. He’s seemingly in another great spot this week versus the Lions, but be warned that their defense has not been the same pushover it was at the start of the season. Over the past three weeks, the Lions have limited RB fantasy production to the Bears, Packers, and Giants. That puts Singletary firmly in the sell-high conversation considering the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins round out his next month of matchups.
