Fantasy Football TE PPR Rankings Week 10: Who to start, best sleepers at tight end image

The good news is only two key tight ends are on bye this week; the bad news is one of them is Travis Kelce. As such, our Week 10 fantasy TE PPR rankings have a new No. 1 -- someone we never expected would be in this spot at the beginning of the season.

Kelce owners knew this day was coming eventually, so hopefully they prepared. Now they know what it's like for most of the rest of us who have to scrap and scrounge at this notoriously thin position. (Though, I guess they found that out last week, too, huh?) Finding a streamer this week won't be easy, but there are a few options who can help you stay competitive.

Now that we know the backdrop to another pivotal week, let's break down our Week 10 TE rankings and spot the potential sleepers and busts.

Who are the TEs on bye in Week 10?

We already mentioned Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are off this week, but so are Dallas Goedert and the Eagles. Those are two huge losses for fantasy owners, and they won't be easy to replace.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | D/STs | Kickers

The Rams (Tyler Higbee) and Dolphins (Durham Smythe) being idle doesn't hurt as much, but those defenses entered last week allowing the fifth-most and 10th-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to TEs, respectively, further limiting the number of viable starters this week.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Who are the best fantasy TEs in Week 10?

Sam LaPorta (@ Chargers in Week 10) will keep the seat warm for Kelce in the No. 1 spot this week. George Kittle (@ Jaguars) and Dalton Kincaid (vs. Broncos) are close behind in highly favorable matchups. T.J. Hockenson (vs. Saints) and Mark Andrews (vs. Browns) have unfavorable matchups, but we can't rank them much lower given their established floors and ceilings.

Evan Engram (vs. 49ers) is in the same boat in a tough matchup, but his PPR bona fides are not up for debate. He's our No. 6 TE this week, which lets you know how tough it's going to be for anyone without a top-tier guy.

WEEK 10 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Who are the best fantasy TE sleepers, pickups, & streamers in Week 10?

Dalton Schultz (@ Bengals) has the top TE matchup on the board, making him a borderline must-start after his monster Week 9. We also like Trey McBride (vs. Falcons) as a safe option thanks to an above-average matchup and frequent targets. We're not sure if Kyler Murray will look his way as often as Arizona's other QBs did, but McBride should remain a key part of Arizona's offense around the goal line.

Taysom Hill (@ Vikings) loses value in PPR leagues, but his ceiling is as high as anyone this week. If you're looking for matchup-based streamers, Hunter Henry (vs. Colts in Germany) and Gerald Everett (vs. Lions) are by far your best options thanks to top-eight matchups. Going a little deeper, Michael Mayer (vs. Jets) has some PPR upside in a favorable matchup, or you could go for an even bigger boom-or-bust option like Daniel Bellinger (@ Cowboys) or Noah Fant (vs. Commanders), both of whom have top-12 matchups.

Who are the biggest potential fantasy TE busts in Week 10?

In addition to Hockenson (vs. Saints), Mark Andrews (vs. Browns), and Engram (vs. 49ers), Kyle Pitts (@ Cardinals) also has a statistically tough matchup. It's tough to sit any of these TEs in any format, but keep in mind that you can't necessarily count on them for major points.

Logan Thomas (@ Seahawks) and Jake Ferguson (vs. Giants) usually see steady targets, so we still like them in 12-team PPR formats, but both have bottom-10 TE matchups. At the very least, we'd play them over David Njoku (@ Ravens), Luke Musgrave (@ Steelers), and Cade Otton (vs. Titans), all of whom have tough matchups and are even more inconsistent.

What are the biggest TE injuries in Week 10?

Darren Waller (hamstring) is on IR and will be out until at least Week 14. Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) will also be on IR for at least another week, but he's eligible to return in Week 11, so if he's available on your waiver wire, grab him now.

Dallas Goedert (forearm) exited early in Week 9 and is likely to miss several weeks based on early reports. The Eagles are off in Week 10, but Goedert owners need to further plan ahead for life without their every-week TE.

We'll be updating these TE PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.
