Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 6: Emari Demercado, K.J. Osborn, D'Onta Foreman among potential breakouts image

As the fantasy football season progresses, the sleeper pool expands, offering plenty of potential hidden gems for astute fantasy owners to uncover. Fortunately, we've curated a plethora of under-the-radar players in our Week 6 fantasy sleeper list, which includes Emari Demercado, K.J. Osborn, D'Onta Foreman, Logan Thomas, and more.

We always stress that any of our sleeper picks could disappoint in Week 6. We like to take some chances with our sleeper picks because recommending a bunch of "must-starts" simply isn't needed. You shouldn't start our sleeper picks over proven, early-round studs, but if your roster is already loaded with stars, then you don't need our advice anyway. If nothing else, our sleeper picks can help you find DFS values, as the prices of these players should be affordable.

The majority of our Week 5 sleeper picks came through, most notably Jaleel McLaughlin, Breece Hall, Joe Burrow, Rashee Rice, Tyler Conklin, and the Dolphins D/ST. With injuries piling up, there are plenty of viable candidates again this week.

WEEK 6 FANTASY ADVICE: Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Fantasy RB Sleepers Week 6

Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots @ Raiders (Sloan Piva). Yes, Stevenson counts as a sleeper considering none of his owners want to play him anymore. We get it — it's tough to start any New England skill-position players right now, but the Raiders are much more forgiving to running backs than the Saints, Cowboys, and Jets over the past few weeks. The last time 'Mondre faced an average run defense — Week 2 vs. the Dolphins — he put up 15 PPR points. The odds for this one imply a final score of Vegas 23-20, and someone has to score for the Pats. After AJ Dillon logged 20 carries for 78 yards and a TD against the Raiders on Monday, 'Mondre with volume and receiving upside seems like a decent player to trust in an injury-ravaged RB landscape.

D'Onta Foreman, Bears vs. Vikings (Vinnie Iyer). We originally had Roschon Johnson (concussion) here, but with both him and Khalil Herbert (ankle) out, Foreman should have a massive role in Week 6. He was a healthy scratch in Weeks 2-5, but he'll get 15-20 touches against a mediocre Vikings' defense.

Emari Demercado, Cardinals @ Rams (Matt Lutovsky). With James Conner (knee) ailing, Demercado is the next man up. He looked good in relief of Conner in Week 5, totaling 57 yards and a TD on 11 touches. The Rams have been solid against RBs this year, but opportunity is everything in fantasy. Demercado is in line for 15-plus touches depending on the status of Keaontay Ingram (neck). Consider Demercado a flex either way because even if Ingram starts, Demercado will be involved.

Fantasy QB Sleepers Week 6

Dak Prescott, Cowboys @ Chargers (Piva). Let's get down to brass Daks...er, tacks: Prescott has not been good. He threw multiple picks in a blowout loss to the 49ers on Sunday Night Football, finishing with 6.32 points for the second time this season. He has now failed to reach 16.4 points in six-point TD leagues four times, but it should be noted that he's faced the Jets, Patriots, and 49ers in three of the past four weeks. The Chargers are not even in the same stratosphere as those other defenses — they have surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to QBs this season. Get Dak back in business this weekend.

Matthew Stafford, Rams vs. Cardinals (Iyer). He’s headed to producing like his old self with three great wide receivers in a pass-happy scheme. The Cardinals matchup was terrific for Joe Burrow in a similar system, so yeah.

Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers vs. Lions (Lutovsky). Mayfield is coming off his best game of the year, throwing for 246 yards and three TDs before Tampa’s bye. The Lions just gave up a career day to Bryce Young, and even though the rookie padded his stats in garbage time, it continued a trend of Detroit giving up a good number of fantasy points to QBs. Mayfield can take advantage.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Fantasy WR Sleepers Week 6

Jakobi Meyers, Raiders vs. Patriots (Piva). Davante Adams got one look in the first half of the Raiders-Packers game on Monday Night Football, and we're starting to wonder if the All-Pro receiver will be packing his bags soon. Meyers, meanwhile, has rekindled a strong rapport with Jimmy Garoppolo since the former Patriots' reunion in Sin City. In the Raiders' two wins, Meyers has a combined 49.6 PPR points. That's not a coincidence. The Pats' defense is too banged up to contain solid route-runners and pass-catchers right now. This is the worst Bill Belichick D we've probably ever seen. Revenge game loading!

K.J. Osborn, Vikings at Bears (Iyer) Justin Jefferson (hamstring) is down and out, and the Vikings are fortunate to have a good plug-and-play option alongside T.J. Hockenson and Jordan Addison. Osborn has a good rapport with Kirk Cousins and will be busy working the outside against a struggling, banged-up Chicago secondary.

Jonathan Mingo, Panthers vs. Dolphins (Lutovsky). Mingo is averaging seven targets per game in his past three contests, including one that was shortened because of a concussion. The talented rookie seems on the verge of a breakout playing off veteran Adam Thielen, and it could definitely come this week in garbage time against a Dolphins’ defense that’s allowed over 30 FPPG to WRs this year.

Fantasy TE Sleepers Week 6

Zach Ertz, Cardinals @ Rams (Piva). Ertz has a solid floor, recording at least 8.1 PPR points in four of the first five weeks of the season, and he always has red-zone upside. He has scored 20.3 points over the past two weeks, and he should stay busy this week against the Rams, who have yielded the fifth-most FPPG to tight ends this season.

Tyler Conklin, Jets vs. Eagles (Iyer). Conklin has quickly become Zach Wilson’s most trusted target, and this matchup is great, as the Jets keep using more multiple-tight end sets. He should continue becoming a bigger factor playing off Garrett Wilson.

Logan Thomas, Commanders @ Falcons (Lutovsky). Thomas continues to rack up short receptions, catching nine-of-11 targets for 77 yards and a score last week. Atlanta is allowing second-most FPPG to TEs, so Thomas is in position to have another big game.

Fantasy Defense Sleepers Week 6

Tennessee Titans vs. Ravens (Piva). Tennessee's defense looks awful against the pass sometimes, but it's generally pretty sturdy against the run. Mike Vrabel's squad has only allowed 31 rushing yards to QBs this entire season, so don't expect a 75-yard field day for Lamar Jackson. If Tennessee makes him throw, Baltimore will almost assuredly take sacks and suffer turnovers. The Titans have two games with 14-plus points and two with eight, so we have them 14th in our Week 6 D/ST rankings.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Patriots (Iyer). They inspired vs. the Packers in Week 5 with Maxx Crosby wreaking havoc and the team racking up turnovers. The Patriots have been very giving with Mac Jones, and the Raiders should be available to stream in all-sized leagues.

Minnesota Vikings @ Bears (Lutovsky). We know – the Bears’ offense is rolling and the Vikings’ D/ST is bad. We can’t shake the season-long trends, though. Chicago has allowed at least three sacks in every game, multiple turnovers in four-of-five games, and a defensive TD in three-of-five games. Even the Vikings can produce fantasy points in this matchup.
