There are a ton of ways to prepare for your fantasy draft (reading rankings, cheat sheets, sleeper lists, etc.), including checking out experts' mocks to see the latest position and player trends. But if you really want to put your draft strategy into action, participating in a fantasy football mock draft is the best way to get a feel for how draft day will turn out.

However, not everyone has the time to do practice drafts. If you try one on ESPN on Yahoo, it could take you hours, and if you're lucky, the entire group of drafters will stay until round five before they leave and auto-draft takes the first guy up --. not really a realistic version of how your draft will go.

Instead of taking hours on a subpar initiation of a real fantasy draft, our friends at FantasyPros have developed a handy tool that allows you to simulate mock drafts in minutes (see below).

2017 RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide Receiver | Tight End
D/ST | Kicker | Top 200

Some of the great things about FantasyPros' Mock Draft Simulator are that you can customize it to your league (PPR or standard; flex or no flex, etc.), pick your exact spot in the draft order and weigh your options against expert consensus rankings. You can also set the rankings to Yahoo, ESPN or NFL.com leagues, which is important because each website uses their own rankings and the order will most likely affect how you and others will draft. Also, the draft won't just pick the next guy up. It mixes and drafts random players out of their set rankings to give it a more realistic touch that you would see during your draft.

All told, you can do a full draft of 16 rounds in a matter of five minutes. If you don't even have five minutes, you can do however many rounds you'd like and put the rest of the draft on auto-draft. FantasyPros will show you the results and even give you a team grade based on the expert consensus rankings. Try it out below without leaving this page.

With the customizable Mock Draft Simulator, you can easily kill a lunch break trying out dozens of possible draft strategies. "What would happen if I took Rob Gronkowski in the second round? Or maybe Aaron Rodgers? What if I didn't draft a running back until the fifth round? How far can I go before I have to draft a quarterback?"

Also, if you're in a league where you don't know where you'll be placed or you have the ability to pick your own draft spot, the FantasyPros' Mock Draft Simulator gives you chance to test out each draft slot and see which position gives you the best chance of building the team you want.

2017 SLEEPERS:

And if you really have some time on your hands, you can try out crazy ideas like drafting the Broncos D/ST or Justin Tucker in the first round -- you know, just for kicks and stuff. Again, one of the best perks of the Mock Draft Simulator that it can be customized to your league and it's more involved than simply "auto-drafting."

Save time, have fun, win your league.
