Fantasy Football Injury Updates: Evan Engram, Gerald Everett, Greg Olsen affect Week 15 TE rankings image

If Evan Engram can make it back for Week 15, the tight end rankings will be nearly back to full strength (although Mark Andrews' injury means that might not be totally true). We're also looking for the latest updates on Gerald Everett and Greg Olsen, who each missed Week 14, as well. If they remain out, Tyler Higbee and Ian Thomas would once again serve as priority waiver pickups and sleepers.

Evan Engram injury update

After there was some speculation that Engram (foot) would return for Week 14, he was ruled out Saturday ahead of the Giants' Monday night game. He's missed four-straight contests due to a foot injury, allowing Kaden Smith to continue to start. New York takes on the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in Week 15.

Engram gets plugged right back into fantasy lineups if he's active, while Smith remains a deep-league option if he gets the start against the Dolphins.

WEEK 15: Top Waiver Pickups

Gerald Everett injury news

Everett (knee) has missed two straight games while Tyler Higbee has topped 100 yards in both. Sean McVay told reporters Monday that Everett is progressing but will likely be held out of practice early in the week.

Considering Higbee had already leapfrogged Everett before the injury, anyone who's relying on Higbee at this point shouldn't be worried. Higbee proved his 100-yard game against the Cardinals wasn't a fluke by doing it again, so he's a borderline fantasy starter for Week 15 against the Cowboys.

Greg Olsen concussion status

Olsen missed Week 14 after getting concussed in Week 13. Ian Thomas saw 10 targets and scored a touchdown in Olsen's absence. A return for Olsen will depend on clearing the NFL's concussion protocol.

The Panthers take on the Seahawks in Week 15, who just allowed a 100-yard game to Tyler Higbee, so whichever of Olsen or Thomas gets the start should be considered a back-end fantasy starter.
