Chris Herndon remains a tight end mystery as we head into Week 10, but yet again, it appears his arrow is pointing in the right direction. Jared Cook looks like he'll be back to potentially disappoint those of us ranking TEs. And in Tennessee, Delanie Walker is inching his way back from injury but may need another week before he can eat into Jonnu Smith's workload, which would actually make fantasy start 'em, sit 'em decisions a little easier.

Chris Herndon injury update
Herndon was active in Week 9, but he didn't see the field. His activation was more due to the sheer number of injuries the Jets were dealing with. Herndon was limited in Wednesday's practice as he returns from a hamstring injury.
The Jets' Week 10 opponent, the Giants, just allowed season highs in multiple categories to Jason Witten, as well as a long touchdown to Blake Jarwin, so if Herndon plays, he's an interesting TE sleeper. It's just hard to know with him whether "active" will be for real this time. You probably have to wait to see Herndon getting playing time before he can be in your fantasy lineup.

Jared Cook injury news
Cook practiced for the Saints on Wednesday after he'd missed time before New Orleans' Week 9 bye. He's been dealing with an ankle injury and has only aligned to play one game this season with Drew Brees.
Falcons-Saints has a projected total above 50 points, so Cook is in a good spot to be a bye-week fill-in as long as he's active. The target share for a TE with the Saints at this point won't be super high, but there's decent touchdown probability for Cook.

When will Delanie Walker be back?
Walker (ankle) didn't practice for the Titans on Wednesday after getting rid of his walking boot earlier in the week. A matchup with a Chiefs defense that's prone to allowing TE production is ahead for whichever Tennessee tight end starts.

Most likely, we'll see another week of Jonnu Smith, who might be the Titans' best option at the position anyway. He's a low-end fantasy starter this week against a KC team that's allowed the sixth-most receiving yards to the position in 2019. If Walker plays, he's riskier and should be left on most benches.
