FanDuel Picks Week 6: Best NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football tournaments image

Week 6 features a solid 11-game NFL DFS main slate on Sunday afternoon that starts at 1 p.m. ET. Our Week 6 FanDuel lineup will feature a trio of young running backs with favorable matchups and a QB-WR stack in Seattle that is beginning to find some rhythm. Going with a value sleeper at QB allows us to spend elsewhere and still have a high ceiling.

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

FanDuel Picks Week 6: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main slate, $60,000 budget

QB Geno Smith, Seahawks vs. Cardinals ($7,400). Smith has been one of the NFL's most efficient starters through the first five games, completing 75.2 percent of his passes for 1,305 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions. Smith is coming off his second-best DFS performance last week vs. the Saints when he scored 24 fantasy points (268 passing yards and three touchdowns). He'll be going up against the Cardinals' defense, which has allowed 19.9 fantasy points per game this season to QBs. In his past three games, Smith is averaging 25.2 FPPG with eight passing touchdowns and an interception. It feels like the veteran should be priced higher, but at $7,400, he's a great option to give you more salary to go heavy at the skill spots.

RB Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots @ Browns ($7,500). Stevenson could be in a lot of lineups with Damien Harris (hamstring) injured. The young running back had an outstanding performance against the Lions' defense last week, mauling them for 161 yards on 25 carries (18.5 fantasy points). Stevenson has performed well in NFL DFS over the past few weeks, averaging 15.8 FPPG. One of the reasons for his success is being a competent receiver out of the backfield. Over that span, he has 10 receptions (12 targets) for 65 yards. He should thrive against the Browns, who are giving up 26.9 FPPG (third-most in the NFL) and eight total touchdowns to RBs this season.

WEEK 6 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings

RB Breece Hall, Jets @ Packers ($7,100). Hall is one of my favorite plays in DFS, as he's been excellent as a rookie this season. The former Iowa State standout is surprisingly averaging 14.6 FPPG through the first five weeks despite sharing the backfield with Michael Carter. Hall should be able to make some noise on the ground against the Packers, who are allowing 126.4 yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry. The Packers have a solid secondary, so the Jets' best bet is to utilize their running backs on Sunday.

WR Mike Evans, Buccaneers @ Steelers ($7,700). Evans had a quiet performance last week against the Falcons but still managed to record four receptions (eight targets) for 81 yards. He will play the Steelers' defense, which was torched last week by Josh Allen and the Bills. Look out for the veteran receiver to find the end zone on Sunday, as Pittsburgh has given up the most touchdowns to WRs this season (9).

WR DK Metcalf, Seahawks vs. Cardinals ($7,400). Our QB-WR stack for Week 6 will be Smith and Metcalf against the Cardinals. The Cardinals' defense did a solid job defending the Eagles' WRs last week, not allowing a single touchdown. Additionally, they've only allowed two TDs to the position this entire season. However, Metcalf and Smith are starting to click, as the star receiver had five receptions (eight targets) for 88 yards and a touchdown last week against the Saints. Metcalf has scored a touchdown in two out of the past three games.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

WR George Pickens, Steelers vs. Buccaneers ($5,800). The rookie wide receiver is starting to emerge as the Steelers' No. 2 wide receiver over the past two weeks. Last week against the Bills, Pickens had six receptions (eight targets) for 83 yards. Diontae Johnson and Najee Harris will garner a lot of attention from the Buccaneers' defense, which means more chances for Pickens to produce.

TE David Njoku, Browns vs. Patriots ($5,900). Quietly, Njoku has been one of the more productive tight ends in the league and is the Browns' second-best receiving threat this season. He has 20 receptions (23 targets) for 250 yards and a touchdown in the past three weeks. He's also produced two double-digit games over that span. The Patriots have had issues covering the tight end this season, allowing 11.4 FPPG to the position. We'll roll the dice with Njoku over Zach Ertz and Tyler Higbee to save some salary.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX James Robinson, Jaguars @ Colts ($6,700). We'll lean on Robinson as our flex pick for Week 6 despite his recent struggles over the past couple of games. Robinson has just 56 yards on 18 carries in the past two weeks, but the good news is he gets to see the Colts. When the Jags last played the Colts in Week 2, Robinson produced 64 rushing yards and a TD. Indy is very stingy against the run (96.6 yards per game allowed), but Robinson will get the touches and hopefully find his way into the end zone.

DEF Ravens @ Giants ($4,500). Finally, we'll take the Ravens' defense, who can make life tough for Giants QB Daniel Jones. Baltimore is tied for first in takeaways (11) and has recorded an INT in every game this season. The Ravens will not be on the top of many DFS players' radars because of the yards given up this season. However, this Giants' offense does not pose many issues outside Saquon Barkley. Take a chance on the Ravens and hope they create a turnover and pick up some sacks.
