Week 14 will be tough to navigate in season-long and daily fantasy football formats, as we have six teams on a bye. However, Sunday's NFL DFS main slate still has a lot of good matchups that make for an intriguing player pool. Our FanDuel lineup features a standout Seahawks' QB-WR stack, a couple of veteran running backs, and some contrarian picks at WR, TE, and D/ST.

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

FanDuel Picks Week 14: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main slate, $60,000 budget

QB Geno Smith, Seahawks vs. Panthers ($7,700). Smith has completed 72.7 percent of his passes for 3,169 yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions this year, and he's coming off one of his best games of the season (367 yards, three TDs). It was the third time in the past four games Smith has scored 20 FanDuel points or more and the second-straight contest with 300-plus passing yards. He will try to carry that momentum into this week's game against the Panthers, who are coming off a bye. The Panthers' defense has not been bad at defending the pass, allowing 212.5 yards per game (14th-fewest in the NFL) this season, but Smith has proven he can produce in any matchup with his two superb WRs. Kenneth Walker's ankle injury might cause Seattle to throw more, making Smith an underrated DFS commodity.

RB Ezekiel Elliott, Cowboys vs. Texans ($8,000). The veteran running back has been on a tear over the past few weeks since returning from injury and has a favorable matchup this week against the Texans. The veteran RB has scored a rushing touchdown in five-straight games and is averaging 16.5 FanDuel points per game over that span. Elliott should be able to extend his TD streak on Sunday against a Texans' defense that's allowing the most FanDuel points per game to RBs (26.7) and the most rushing TDs to the position (14) this season.

WEEK 14 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings

RB D'Onta Foreman, Panthers @ Seahawks ($6,900). To round out our backfield, we will roll with Foreman, who has a good matchup against a Seahawks' defense that allowed 60 rushing yards and two rushing TDs to Cam Akers last week. Foreman has been one of the more productive RBs in NFL DFS since taking over the starting job for Christian McCaffrey. Since Week 7, Foreman is averaging 13.8 FanDuel points per game. He also has four 100-yard performances over that period. He should be able to put together another double-digit performance against Seattle, who is allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to RBs (25.7).

WR DK Metcalf, Seahawks vs. Panthers ($7,900). Metcalf went off last week against the Rams, posting eight receptions (eight targets) for 127 yards and a touchdown (22.7 FanDuel points). The star wide receiver is averaging 14.8 FanDuel points per game over his past five games. Metcalf has a decent matchup against the Panthers' middle-of-the-road pass defense this week, which is allowing the 15th-most FanDuel points per game to WRs (27.6) this season. With Tyler Lockett playing at a high level on the other side, Carolina's defense will have their hands full trying to stop both star wideouts, and we think Metcalf will be relatively low-owned this week. If he's out because of his hip injury, simply pivot to Lockett.

WR Christian Kirk, Jaguars @ Titans ($7,600). Kirk had a solid bounce-back performance against the Lions, posting six receptions (eight targets) for 104 yards (13.4 FanDuel points). It was the second time in the past three games that Kirk had 100-plus yards. The veteran wide receiver has a great opportunity to have another 100-yard outing against a Titans' defense that got humiliated by A.J. Brown last week. Tennessee allows the most touchdowns to WRs (17) and the most FanDuel points per game to the position (34.9) this season.

WEEK 14 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Chiefs @ Broncos ($5,800). We're going contrarian with MVS here. Last week against the Bengals, the veteran wide receiver had two receptions (six targets) for 71 yards, but he also dropped what should've been a sure TD. The Broncos' defense allows the fewest FanDuel points per game to WRs (21.1) this season, so MVS will not be highly owned, but if he can hit on a couple of big passing plays like he always has a chance to, he'll return value and give our lineup a lot of differentiation.

TE Pat Freiermuth, Steelers vs. Ravens ($5,800). The young tight end had a good performance last week against the Falcons, recording three receptions (five targets) for 76 yards. Freiermuth is averaging 8.5 FanDuel points per game in his past six games and has produced 50-plus yards four times. He will now prepare to face Baltimore's 25th-ranked pass defense. Freiermuth is a solid value option under $6K, as he's received 28 targets in the past month.

WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX Dalton Schultz, Cowboys vs. Texans ($6,200). Schultz had a quiet outing last week against the Colts, scoring just 4.3 FanDuel points (two receptions for 33 yards). However, he should bounce back on Sunday against a Texans' defense that allows 9.2 FanDuel points per game to TEs and five TDs to the position this season. With so much attention on the Cowboys' running backs and CeeDee Lamb, Schultz could find his way into the end zone.

DEF Jets @ Bills ($4,000). Last week's dud notwithstanding, the Jets have been one of the steadier fantasy D/STs this year. In their first meeting against the Bills this season, the Jets made life tough for Bills QB Josh Allen, sacking him five times and forcing him into two interceptions. They also held the Bills to 17 offensive points. New York won't be highly owned this week, making it a great contrarian option at a decent price.
