Eagles-Chiefs FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Super Bowl 57 single-game tournaments image

The Eagles and Chiefs meet for a chance to etch themselves into history during Super Bowl 57 on February 12 (6:30 p.m. ET, FOX). According to BetMGM, Philadelphia currently sits as a 1.5-point favorite, with the total set at 50.5 points. For NFL DFS players in need of Super Bowl 57 single-game lineup advice, we've put together our favorite FanDuel lineup that includes a contrarian MVP along with a three-player Eagles stack.

Let's dive into our FanDuel single-game lineup for the Big Game. Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel single-game contests:

  • The point total for the "MVP" is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn't cost any additional money like the "Captain" in DraftKings Showdown contests.
  • FanDuel's default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs.
  • Unlike on DraftKings, FanDuel features no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games

Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl 57 FanDuel Picks

$60,000 budget; must roster at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5x points): RB Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs ($10,500)

Rostering the Chiefs' rookie RB as MVP gives our lineup a chance to differentiate ourselves, something DFS players need to consider if they want to really make a splash in Super Bowl tournaments. Pacheco's coming off a solid AFC championship game performance, scoring 11 FD points while aiding in both the running (10 carries, 26 yards) and passing games (five receptions, 59 yards). Pacheco had a tough time getting going on the ground last week, but against an Eagles defense that's allowed the 10th-highest rush EPA (-0.043), we're expecting a more efficient showing in the big game. Another double-digit carry and multi-target outing figures to be in store for Pacheco.

FLEX QB Jalen Hurts, Eagles ($17,000)

While much has changed since the last time the Eagles and Chiefs faced off, Hurts did throw for a career-high 387 passing yards against Kansas City in Week 4 of last season. It's unlikely he tops that in Glendale, but a 300-plus passing-yard performance is well within reach. The Eagles offense hasn't been in a high-leverage situation so far this postseason so Hurts hasn't had to do much as a passer. That all changes in the Super Bowl, as a matchup against the league's most efficient offense will force Hurts to rely more on his arm. Kansas City's defense allowed the second-most fantasy points to QBs during the regular season, so a 20-plus point effort from Hurts seems likely.

SUPER BOWL BETTING:

FLEX RB Miles Sanders, Eagles ($12,000)

Following four consecutive underwhelming fantasy showings, Sanders scored 17 FD points in the NFC championship game, most notably scoring the Eagles' first two TDs of the game. Even without doing much of anything in the passing game (three receptions in the past six games), Sanders is capable of scoring 15-plus FD points given his elite red-zone usage. In the regular season, Sanders racked up the fourth-most red-zone touches among RBs (49) while scoring 11 TDs (ninth among RBs). Kansas City's defense ranks below the league average in PFF's run defense grade (62.4), and with the Eagles leading the league in rush EPA (0.072) it's likely they continue to have success on the ground. Roll Sanders out in your single-game lineups with confidence.

SUPER BOWL PROPS:
Eagles | Chiefs | Mahomes | Hurts | "Novelty" props | Best bets

FLEX WR DeVonta Smith, Eagles ($11,500)

We're stacking Smith with Hurts, thinking the Eagles' 1B receiver shows out on the big stage. Smith draws a favorable matchup against a Chiefs defense ranking 24th against WRs, so rostering the ninth-most efficient WR in terms of his expected points added (+64.9 EPA) should pay dividends for DFS players. Smith's seen one fewer target than A.J. Brown through two playoff games, but given he's priced $1,000 cheaper, we're able to complete our build with another stable wideout. Kansas City's pass defense has been one of the better units in the back half of the season (-0.023 drop-back EPA), but they still allowed Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to combine for 158 receiving yards.

SUPER BOWL 57 EXOTIC PROP BETS:
National Anthem | Halftime | Broadcast | Coin toss, more

FLEX WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chiefs ($9,000)

Smith-Schuster exited the AFC championship game in the second half with a knee injury, but with ample time to heal up, we're expecting JuJu to be good to go for the big game. Smith-Schuster could assume a high target share with Mecole Hardman (pelvis) landing on injured reserve while Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) is listed on the team's injury report. Smith-Schuster's ability to create separation on defensive backs (52.1-percent route win rate) is also a plus, and with the Chiefs likely passing at a high rate, it could result in his best fantasy showing over the past five weeks.
