Daily Fantasy Football Week 10 Picks: DraftKings tournament lineup, strategy, advice image

In what feels like a million years ago, our last DraftKings tournament/GPP lineup hit 3X when we were shooting for 4X. The Eli-Odell stack got us off to a great start, but a couple other picks felled the quest for two bills and we landed at a generally strong 153 points. But the beauty of daily fantasy football is you can come back with a brand-new set of picks and strategy the next week, and we're ready to go for Week 10.

We're building our team around a Cowboys stack, grabbing one star apiece at RB, WR, and TE, then filling in the rest of the lineup with value picks? Pretty sound strategy, right?

Here's the reasoning behind our Week 10 advice. Hopefully it helps you build your own winning lineup!

Week 10 daily fantasy football picks and strategy

QB Dak Prescott, DAL at PIT ($6,100): We’re hoping that the Steelers’ No. 29 rank against running backs will draw public shares to Zeke and away from our Dak-Dez stack. Prescott probably won’t go below medium-owned, but this stack shouldn’t be too chalk in GPPs, and it possesses a high ceiling if the Cowboys fall behind in Pittsburgh.

RB Le’Veon Bell, PIT vs. DAL ($7,700): Bell comes off a "floor week" and gets the second-stingiest defense to opposing RBs in DraftKings scoring, so we're banking on that limiting ownership to a large degree. Bell’s 38 targets lead all running backs since Week 5, with David Johnson next at 31 followed by Duke Johnson at 23. Take him off a down performance.

WEEK 10 RANKINGS
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

RB Chris Ivory, JAX vs. HOU ($3,400): This is a case of an offensive coordinator change dramatically altering the weekly game plan, or so it seems. The Jags’ OC switch coincided with Ivory getting 19 touches and running effectively last week, piling up 107 yards on the day and getting goal-line work that could make up for lack of targets.

WR Jordy Nelson, GB at TEN ($7,500): Nelson’s road to full recovery has hit speed bumps, but he is now at least regaining consistent alpha status in this offensive ecosystem. Nelson leads the league in touchdown catches from inside the 10, per Pro Football Reference and ranks second in targets from that range. He is ripping off the fourth-most receiving yards over the past two weeks.

WR Dez Bryant, DAL at PIT ($7,000): Dez failed to hit 20 yards receiving last week, so we’re hoping the public largely stays off. Bryant has topped 20 DraftKings points in two of his past four contests, so the ceiling’s still there, especially if the Steelers put them in negative gamescript.

WR Kenny Britt, LA at NYJ ($4,900): Britt’s big-play ability entices as a low-owned GPP play against a Jets defense that allows the seventh-most points to opposing WRs and was fortunate for deep misfires from Ryan Tannehill last week. Per Pro Football Focus data, Britt ranks ninth in average depth of target among WRs to take 60-plus percent of snaps since Week 6.

TE Jordan Reed, WAS vs. MIN ($6,200): The PPR per-game king of 2015 has remained incredibly efficient, notching 24.9 DraftKings points in his first game back two weeks ago. We’ll take the $700 discount on Gronk and dial down our level of fear for the Vikes defense. Eric Ebron, our Week 9 cash recommendation, just hit 7-for-92 on them.

FLEX J.J. Nelson, ARI vs. SF ($4,200): Nelson ranks just a hair behind Sammie Coates for the league lead in average depth of target, per Pro Football Focus. However, Nelson is seeing his offensive share rise, as he's posted 19 targets for 163 yards and two scores over his past two games. The volatility of the Cardinals’ outside receivers this season still yields a very high ceiling.

DST Washington vs. Minnesota ($3,000): Washington’s pass rush has picked it up while Sam Bradford has taken the seventh-most sacks among QBs. Even a change in coordinator and philosophy doesn’t immediately provide confidence in the Vikings’ offensive line holding up.
