The short slate of NFL wild card weekend makes leaning on stacks an even more critical strategy in DraftKings GPP tournaments. We analyze five stacks from teams with 20-plus Vegas implied point totals, each strapping cash for the rest of our lineup picks.
Further down are extreme contrarian (i.e. "value") plays to consider pairing with stacks in tournaments, as hitting in GPPs will likely require low-cost players that most of the public passes on.
Collective Ownership Report projections aid us identifying players likely to go low-owned this weekend. The hold-your-nose picks can make the difference with just the four games on the schedule.

Contrarian Playoff Lineup Picks/Value Plays for DraftKings Tournaments
Now let's look into the potential GPP heroes that could come completely out of left field to break that lineup through in a field with narrowed options, focusing on RBs, WRs and TEs since each stack above includes the quarterback.
Collective Ownership Report projects DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard to go under five percent owned. Each gets sub-$3,500 cost, and Oakland did spread backfield distribution in a meaningful Week 17 game at Denver. Connor Cook definitely limits the ownership ceiling, but each is one long catch or run away from hitting 4x value.
The Giants backfield of Rashad Jennings and Paul Perkins creates uncertainty due to Perkins’ ascent, and each should fall well below the top five backs in terms of ownership — though not super-contrarian quite like the Raiders backfield. Both go sub-$4,500, and Jennings does have that injury history that could help Perkins.
The public isn’t touching anyone that Brock Osweiler must hit with accurate downfield passes. Will Fuller’s going for more than $2K cheaper than DeAndre Hopkins and does pose the deep threat to hit 3x value on any one play. He’ll go sub-five percent owned until he re-emerges from the fantasy abyss that’s been the Houston pass offense since October.
Richard Rodgers might not sniff three percent ownership thanks to Jared Cook’s growing presence in the Packers' pass offense. The Giants have shown far greater strength against opposing WRs than opposing tight ends, and a multi-TD day would make 10x value a possibility at $2,500.
