After getting off to a slow start this season, Chris Olave has put together strong performances in consecutive weeks. He's cleared 80 yards in two straight games and found the endzone last week against the Eagles, New Orleans' only touchdown of the game.
The hope was that Olave would transition into a high-end WR1 this season and ascend into the tier of receivers who are household names. He's been on the right track through three weeks and it seems that New Orleans has the offensive firepower to support multiple star players.
Unfortunately, Olave may not have the opportunity to build on his strong start to the year. He is in danger of missing Week 4 due to a hamstring injury suffered in practice.

Will Chris Olave play this week? Injury update on Saints' WR
After suffering a hamstring injury during Friday's practice, Olave is listed as questionable on the team's injury report. The injury doesn't seem to be especially serious as he is reportedly day to day.
Saints WR Chris Olave is considered, in the words of a source, “day to day” with the hamstring injury he suffered in today’s practice. https://t.co/bV94SrCTwJ

At this point, the true severity is unknown which makes it difficult to project Olave's Week 4 availability. However, it's worth noting that popping up on the injury report this late in the week is never a good sign.
There's a real possibility that no clarity is provided on this situation until inactives are due at 11:30 AM EST tomorrow. Check back here regularly, as we'll be providing updates as they become available
Saints' WR Depth Chart: Who is Chris Olave's Backup?
The Saints have a less-than-ideal situation in their wide receiver room this week. Not only is Olave questionable, but multiple backups are set to be unavailable. A.T. Perry has already been ruled out (hamstring) and Cedrick Wilson Jr. is unlikely to play (officially questionable) after logging a DNP on Friday with an ankle injury.
New Orleans will have to adopt a "next man up" mentality if Olave is unable to suit up. The next man on the depth chart is rookie Mason Tipton. He has been mixing in here and there so far this season but has just three receptions through three games.
If Olave and Wilson are both scratched from the lineup, Tipton will be asked to step up in a big way. He would operate as the WR2 with Rashid Shaheed assuming WR1 duties for the week.

Chris Olave fantasy outlook Week 4
If Olave plays this week, he should be started in fantasy football. He is a "set it and forget it" WR2 in most lineups. Only teams with laughable WR depth would have the luxury of benching Olave.
It's smart to be prepared with a backup plan in case Olave is unable to play. If you're absolutely desperate, Tipton could be started. But that move should be reserved for dire situations. A better place to look for alternatives is on the waiver wire or by checking out some of our Week 4 sleepers.
