What's better than getting big passing, rushing, or receiving performances in your Week 7 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings or FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.
Week 7's main DFS slate is the smallest of the season, so the need for maximizing points is more important than ever. The best stacks don't always include the biggest stars, as you'll see below, but finding lower-owned, productive gems is another key to winning in DFS, especially now that the bye weeks are here, injuries are mounting, and there are fewer options in the player pool.
Week 7 presents another great opportunity to attack the stacks, as the prices on DK and FD are manageable for many breakout players. Here's looking at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's 1 p.m. main slate:
WEEK 7 DFS: DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values
Week 7 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments
Best QB-WR stack
Falcons: Desmond Ridder ($5,200 DK, $6,900 FD) and Drake London ($5,100 DK, $6,900 FD)
This is a tough one to put in based on the Falcons wanting to be a running team, but the matchup in Tampa Bay once again says the run will be contained. Ridder will need to put the ball up in the air more than Arthur Smith would like, and the Bucs are getting roasted by No. 1s of London's ilk. He should continue to come alive when Ridder needs to pass.
WEEK 7 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Best QB-TE stack
Ravens: Lamar Jackson ($7,600 DK, $8,000 FD) and Mark Andrews ($5,700 DK, $6,900 FD)
Jackson and Andrews have had one big game working together. They are due for another at home against a Lions' defense that is good in coverage in general but can struggle vs. tight ends. Lamar is buying time with his legs and looking good passing, and you can't run on Detroit, either.
WEEK 7 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers
Best RB-Defense Stack
Commanders: Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,800 DK, $7,300 FD) and D/ST ($3,500 DK, $4,600 FD)
The Commanders played a little more inspired defense on the road vs. the Falcons, and that should pay off better vs. the mistake-prone Giants for sacks and takeaways regardless of the QB. B-Rob can explode for a big game with a position game script.
WEEK 7 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em
Best "Onslaught" Stack
Seahawks: Geno Smith ($6,000 DK, $7,000 FD), DK Metcalf ($6,800 DK, $7,700 FD), and Noah Fant ($2,800 DK, $4,900 FD)
Smith and Metcalf should destroy the Cardinals' secondary all over the field and downfield, and you could also pivot to Tyler Lockett if Metcalf's hip injury keeps him out. Fant hasn't done much and Arizona has shored up vs. tight ends, but he's a cheap play to get ROI attached to Smith.
Week 7 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel
Best QB-WR stack
Lions: Jared Goff ($6,400 DK, $7,600 FD) and Amon-Ra St. Brown ($8,000 DK, $8,200 FD)
The numbers say "no" on Goff on the road, but his great play speaks otherwise. ARSB did his thing back from injury against the Buccaneers and should remain hot vs. the Ravens' secondary. Around 250 yards and three TDs for Goff with 100 yards and a TD for his go-to guy makes good sense in a shootout with Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews.
Best RB-Defense stack
Raiders: Josh Jacobs ($7,400 DK, $8,00 FD) and D/ST ($3,800 DK, $4,700 FD)
This one is a layup for good return, as Jacobs should run all over the Bears should he continue to get massive volume. Maxx Crosby will get to tee off on Tyson Bagent on the other side.
