Best NFL DFS Stacks Week 6: Lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy football contests image

What's better than getting big passing, rushing, or receiving performances in your Week 6 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings or FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.

We're starting to get more clarity on what constitutes a favorable -- or unfavorable -- matchup in addition to which players are poised to see steady workloads. These aren't always stars, as you'll see below, but finding lower-owned, productive gems is another key to winning in DFS, especially now that the bye weeks are here and there are fewer options in the player pool.

WEEK 6 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Week 6 presents another great opportunity to attack the stacks, as the prices on DK and FD are still manageable with several star players. Here's looking at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's main slate:

WEEK 6 DFS:
DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values

Week 6 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments

Best QB-WR stack

Vikings: Kirk Cousins ($7,100 DK, $8,000 FD) and Jordan Addison ($5,700 DK, $6,700 FD)

Cousins is down Justin Jefferson (hamstring) for the foreseeable future, and he needs to pivot to his other talented wide receivers. Addison will now see regular snaps with K.J. Osborn regardless of personnel grouping, and the rookie first-rounder should deliver a strong all-around game against a reeling Bears secondary where he will have the sweetest inside-outside matchups. Around 300 yards and two TDs and 100 yards and a TD seem more like floors than ceilings.

WEEK 6 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best QB-TE stack

Bears: Justin Fields ($7,300 DK, $8,500 FD) and Cole Kmet ($4,600 DK, $6,100 FD)

Let's stay in the same game, a potential NFC North shootout with two bad defenses and two red-hot passing games. Fields went off with DJ Moore as his only wide receiver connection in Week 5, but Kmet shined for a second consecutive outing. He is feeling it again as a red-zone threat, and the Vikings can be giving to the position in coverage.

WEEK 6 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best RB-Defense Stack

Eagles: D'Andre Swift ($6,100 DK, $7,200 FD) and D/ST ($3,800 DK, $4,900 FD)

Swift has had some big games and some limited games when healthy, but the Jets are his kind of matchup because they can struggle with his combination of inside power and outside speed. The Eagles' pass defense is giving up some numbers, but it can also tee off for big plays on Zach Wilson.

WEEK 6 FANTASY ADVICE:
Sleepers | Busts | Projections | Start 'em, sit 'em

Best "Onslaught" Stack

Buccaneers: Baker Mayfield ($5,400 DK, $7,100 FD), Mike Evans ($7,100 DK, $7,600 FD), and Chris Godwin ($6,900 DK, $6,300 FD)

Mayfield and the Bucs will play well vs. the Lions coming off a bye. They can't run well and that won't change on this defense, but consider Bryce Young went off in garbage time last week in Detroit, and Tampa Bay can be more competitive at home. Evans (hamstring) should be fully healthy and stay hot after getting a week to rest his hamstring, and Godwin gets a break with Brian Branch (calf) hurt in the slot. They should see high target volume from Baker with just a dash of Cade Otton.

Week 6 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Best QB-WR stack

Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence ($6,500 DK, $7,600 FD) and Calvin Ridley ($6,700 DK, $7,000 FD)

They are both reasonably priced despite the fact they went off together against the Colts in Week 1 on the road. They get that same matchup at home with Ridley on a heater from his two games in London scoring and getting downfield. Lawrence is looking for his second multiple-TD game of the season since Week 1, and it comes here with Ridley involved at least once.

Best RB-Defense stack

Dolphins: Raheem Mostert ($6,400 DK, $8,500 FD) and D/ST ($3,500 DK, $4,800 FD)

This is a no-brainer with Mostert with no De'Von Achane (knee). The spread says Miami should have a positive game script to tee off on Bryce Young.
