Best NFL DFS Stacks Week 4: Lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel daily fantasy football contests image

What's better than getting big passing or rushing performances in your Week 4 daily fantasy football lineups on DraftKings on FanDuel? Trying to double or triple up your scoring potential with smart DFS stacks of multiple players or entities from the same team.

We're starting to get more clarity on what constitutes a favorable -- or unfavorable -- matchup in addition to which players are poised to see steady workloads. These aren't always stars, as you'll see below, but finding lower-owned, productive gems is another key to winning in DFS.

Week 4 presents another great opportunity to attack the stacks, as the prices on DK and FD are still manageable with several star players. With that in mind, here's looking at the best correlated DFS combinations to consider when trying to maximize points and take down some big tournaments during Sunday's main slate:

WEEK 4 DFS:
DK lineup | FD lineup | Best values

Week 4 DraftKings, FanDuel Picks: Best stacks for daily fantasy football tournaments

Best QB-WR stack

Panthers: Bryce Young ($5,200 DK, $6,800 FD) and Adam Thielen ($4,500 DK, $6,800 FD)

This could be seen as chasing points from given Thielen was spectacular with Andy Dalton in Seattle last week, but skepticism over repeating that performance with a different QB is exactly why you should get right back on board. The Vikings are bound to move the ball and light up the Panthers with a lead. The Panthers will need to pass plenty against an awful secondary where Thielen has an even better matchup than last week.

Oh yeah, and it's a "revenge game" for Thielen, so Young will keep feeding him often with Jonathan Mingo (concussion) iffy to play. You can also pivot to DJ Chark to get even more contrarian. Young can have his first multiple TD game easily here to bring you good return, with Thielen at least catching one.

WEEK 4 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best QB-TE stack

49ers: Brock Purdy $5,900 DK, $7,100 FD) and George Kittle ($5,100 DK, $6,300 FD)

San Francisco gets a potential smash spot in the passing game vs. Arizona, even with wide receivers Deebo Samuel (ribs) and Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) battling injuries. Kittle has a strong history of production vs. the Cardinals, and Purdy, a native of Gilbert, Ariz., is smooth putting up big numbers at home. They will connect for another big game like they did on TNF in Week 3.

WEEK 4 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Best RB-Defense Stack

Browns: Jerome Ford ($5,400 DK, $6,400 FD) and D/ST ($2,800 DK, $4,300 FD)

Ford delivered in a tough matchup against the Titans with scoring and receiving work. The Ravens are tricky, too, but they just allowed a massive game to Zack Moss at home. This is in Cleveland, and Ford should continue to get high volume. The Browns D/ST might seem like a good fade vs. Lamar Jackson, but the Ravens' offensive line is injury-riddled and Myles Garrett is going nuts early.

WEEK 4 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start 'em, sit 'em

Best "Onslaught" Stack

Bengals: Joe Burrow ($6,500 DK, $7,200 FD), Ja'Marr Chase ($7,800 DK, $8,200 FD) and Tyler Boyd ($4,100 DK, $5,600 FD)

The Titans are a dominant run defense but are terrible in the secondary, and there's no question what the Bengals should do here. Burrow was better than expected on his sore calf on Monday night and could have had a big night had some targets (ahem, Tee Higgins) held onto the ball. Burrow and Chase got warmed up nicely for this matchup, and Boyd should earn more looks in the slot with Higgins having hands issues. This is the way, with a cheaper-than-usual Burrow, to get big exposure to a top passing game in a cake matchup.

Week 4 NFL DFS Picks: Top cash game stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel

Best QB-WR stack

Broncos: Russell Wilson ($5,800 DK, $7,500 FD) and Courtland Sutton ($5,300 DK, $7,100 FD)

The Bears' secondary is reeling with injuries at cornerback, and their pass rush is non-existent. Wilson should be set up to make some big plays downfield to Sutton, who's quietly off to a nice start as the preferred No. 1 over Jerry Jeudy. Expect another long TD hookup and a productive day with Sutton getting 100 yards and Wilson putting up 250 yards and two TDs.

Best RB-Defense stack

Steelers: Najee Harris ($5,500 DK, $6,300 FD) and D/ST ($3,900 DK, $4,600 FD)

Harris has the sweetest possible matchup to help him get on track running in Houston. The Steelers should also rack up some sacks vs. C.J. Stroud with his tackles depleted vs. T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Stroud's hot streak plus Harris underwhelming might keep some away, but it's a good shot to take.
