Best Fantasy Week 10 Waiver Pickups: Jeff Wilson Jr. leads Dolphins' RB committee, Terrace Marshall Jr. leads Panthers' WRs image

Another mostly injury-free Sunday might be good for your current lineups, but it doesn't necessarily help future ones. With few injuries and breakouts, our early look at the top Week 10 fantasy waiver wire pickups and free agent adds is headlined by such luminaries as Jeff Wilson Jr., Terrace Marshall Jr., Noah FantMecole Hardman, and Cole Kmet. Yeah, times are tough.

To be fair, a lot of this week's top pickups didn't play on Sunday afternoon, as they were either on bye (Latavius MurrayGreg Dulcich), banged-up (Kyren Williams, Treylon Burks), or involved in a prime-time game (Isiah PachecoIsaiah Likely). These players are all featured in our full free agent recommendations, but once again, the bulk of the list is streamer suggestions for QB, WR, TE, and D/ST. Four teams (Bengals, Ravens, Jets, Patriots) are on bye in Week 10, so plenty of fantasy owners will be looking for fill-ins, especially at TE. The streamer suggestions are grouped by position and can be found at the end of the list.

It's unlikely you'll have an impulse to use a top waiver claim this week. Dulcich might be worthy of that honor, but that's only if you really need a TE. Wilson Jr., Pacheco, Murray, and Williams certainly have value in deep leagues, but you shouldn't use a top-three claim on them unless you're desperate at RB.

Even with the lack of exciting names on the wire, there are enough potential contributors for this to be a busy free-agent week. Whether it's stashing injured/suspended players or grabbing a streamer, have your targets in order and be ready to pounce on Wednesday morning. You usually don't want to use anything but a bottom-three claim on a streamer (depending on how quickly you can cycle back up the priority list in your leagues), but if you think your season is on the line, then do what you have to do.

WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Top fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Week 10

Unless otherwise noted, only players owned in fewer than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues are considered.

Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, Dolphins. Wilson Jr. is owned in just 51 percent of Yahoo leagues, but after tying for the team lead in carries (9), leading in rushing yards (51), and scoring a TD in his Miami debut, it's safe to say he should be owned in more. He will continue to be heavily involved in Mike McDaniel's familiar scheme (he also caught three passes for 21 yards), and with a highly favorable matchup against Cleveland coming up in Week 10, Wilson Jr. should find himself in a lot of fantasy lineups.

WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, Panthers. A week after posting a season-high nine targets and 87 yards, Marshall hauled in three-of-six targets for 53 yards and a TD against the Bengals. Yes, the TD came in garbage time, but it's clear that Marshall has emerged as Carolina's No. 2 receiver. He should keep the good times rolling in Week 10 against the Falcons' 32nd-ranked pass defense. Consider him a solid flex with more value in PPR leagues.

Cole Kmet, TE, Bears. Kmet is heating up in a big way, catching three TDs in the past two weeks. He caught a season-high five passes (six targets) for 41 yards and a pair of scores in a favorable matchup against the Dolphins, and he's as good of a streaming option as you'll find in Week 10. The Lions entered Week 9 allowing the fifth-most FPPG to TEs, so Kmet has a solid floor this week.

Noah Fant, TE, Seahawks. Fant had been trending upward before slowing down in Weeks 7 and 8, but he exploded for a season-high 96 yards on five catches (six targets) against Arizona in Week 9. The Cardinals notoriously struggle against TEs, so perhaps Fant's performance is just a fluke, but he has another favorable matchup in Week 10 against the Bucs. Consider him a top streaming option who could have staying power.

Mecole Hardman, WR, Chiefs. After catching six-of-nine targets for 79 yards and a TD in Week 9, Hardman has now scored in three games. His nine targets were a season high, and he's had at least four looks in four-straight games. The Chiefs have shown they want to use Hardman in creative ways, and with his speed, he has upside every week. In favorable matchups, like next week against Jacksonville, he's a virtual must-start because of his high ceiling.
