2018 Fantasy Rankings: SG image

Do Fantasy Alarm's shooting guard rankings have as many "big names" as small forward? No, but the position is much deeper. So, if you aren't able to get James Harden at the top of your draft, you don't have to worry too much about finding a solid starting SG. There's an All-Star at the top of the second tier, for goodness sakes. The only risk, albeit a minor one, is taking Jimmy Butler and hoping he doesn't get traded to a bad situation. Either way, your fantasy basketball cheat sheet should be full of potential sleeper options from this position, too.

The position doesn't feature many players who really excel in one category aside from scoring and/or three-point shooting (and maybe steals), but you can find some nice all-around contributors who can help stabilize your team. Many of these players offer some nice position versatility, too -- something that always comes in handy once injuries strike and pickups emerge on the waiver wire. Take advantage and draft a bunch.
