Juan Mata and Chris Smalling will start for Manchester United against Ajax in the Europa League final Wednesday in Stockholm, with Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard among the substitutes alongside skipper Wayne Rooney.
Rooney started the last three Premier League games of United's season as Jose Mourinho rested key players, while Smalling and Jones were said to be fighting it out to start alongside Daley Blind at the back with the former winning his manager's vote.
Further up, Lingard doesn't make the starting XI despite being replaced before half-time against Crystal Palace on Sunday in order to keep him fresh for the final.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to start on the left of the attack, with Paul Pogba starting his second game since returning from compassionate leave after the recent death of his father.
For Ajax, dangerman Kasper Dolberg and the highly-rated Amin Younes start as part of a young and exciting lineup.
