Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the U.S. Representative for New York's 14th congressional district, is planning to play the hit game "Among Us" with some of Twitch's top streamers.
Better known as AOC, the U.S. politician is doing this as a way to help spread awareness about voting in the upcoming election. AOC tweeted about her desire to set up a game on Monday, and hinted that a stream might take place on Tuesday.
Anyone want to play Among Us with me on Twitch to get out the vote? (I’ve never played but it looks like a lot of fun)

A game of "Among Us" typically includes 10 people, and although we don't know the full lobby, we do know a few names that will likely be involved. AOC responded to Twitch streamers HasanAbi and Pokimane about playing together. She also responded to Ilhan Omar, the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district.
Below, we'll go over everything we know about AOC's Among Us stream.

What is Among Us?
If you're just finding out about Among Us through AOC, then you might be curious about how the game works. Among Us was released two years ago, but has gained popularity over the past month. The basis of the game is that there are 10 people on a ship, two of them are imposters and eight of them are crewmates.
The two imposters go around the ship killing off crewmates one by one in an effort to not be caught. Meanwhile, the crewmates are accomplishing tasks on the ship. The goal for the crewmates is to finish the tasks before too many of them are killed off.
During the game, if a crewmate finds a dead body they can then report the body, and the lobby has time to discuss and potentially vote someone out if they think they're an imposter. If the crewmates are able to correctly guess who the two imposters are, then the crewmates win. If the imposters do a good enough job lying, then they can eventually win once there aren't enough crewmates left.
