Joaquim Rodriguez claimed victory on a dramatic third day of the Tour de France as he finished ahead of Chris Froome on the Mur de Huy.
The Katusha rider allowed Froome to make the first break on the climb to the summit finish on Monday before countering his move to claim the stage win.

However, the day was overshadowed by a huge crash involving a large number of riders brought a temporary halt to racing as William Bonnet's (FDJ.fr) slip caused a pile up ahead of the first category climb, the Cote de Bohissau.
Four riders were forced to abandon because of their injuries, while others — including Fabian Cancellara in yellow — were able to continue, the Trek rider handing the leaders' jersey to Froome (Team Sky) at the end of the day.
When the race eventually restarted, it experienced a taste of the Fleche Wallonne one-day classic, with Rodriguez navigating the remaining three climbs to take victory.
A four-man breakaway moved away early on the route from Antwerp to Huy, but ahead of the opening climb the crash caused chaos within the peloton.
Bonnet suffered a head injury following his fall as the riders behind him all came together, while Simon Gerrans (Orica-GreenEdge) withdrew due to a fractured wrist and Tom Dumoulin (Giant-Alpecin) was taken to hospital with a dislocated shoulder.
Organizers called for the race to be neutralized following the accident to ensure medical teams could treat the injured riders and be available for those continuing.
It took time for the peloton to get back up to normal speed after the 20-minute break, as crosswinds made conditions difficult, with Michael Schar (BMC) and Rafal Majka (Tinkoff-Saxo) taking the first "King of the Mountains" points of this year's Tour.
After Andre Greipel took the intermediate sprint points all the attention turned to the finish, with the general classification contenders all jostling for position.
Richie Porte gave Froome a run out for the final Category 3 climb, the Briton breaking clear with 500 meters to go.
He was unable to make it stick though, allowing Rodriguez to take the win, but the bonus points at the finish were enough to put Froome in yellow by one second ahead of Tony Martin of Etixx-QuickStep.
Team Sky's leader will take the narrow lead into the fourth stage with American Tejay van Garderen (BMC) 13 seconds back and Alberto Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) 36 seconds adrift.
