In the past, Virat has confessed about him idolising Indian cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni. He has also revealed that he is an ardent fan of former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB De Villiers.

Kohli revealed to Star Sports, "Ben Stokes is my favourite current cricketer", as he smiled his teeth out.

It remains to be seen if he actually meant it, because the Indian batter smiled after revealing the name.
