Punjab Kings (PBKS) will host reigning champions Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 13, Wednesday, in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Both teams are currently with four points on the table, and a win for either side could see them level on points with the IPL league leaders Rajasthan Royals.
Both sides have faced each other twice before, with both PBKS and GT getting a victory each in last year's IPL. However, the latter will have the odds on their side, having won the tournament the previous campaign, while PBKS has struggled to make it past the group stages in the last few years.
Both Titans and Kings are coming into this game on the back of a loss and will be eager to make sure it was just a blip.

Here is a comprehensive guide on the pitch report, live toss, predicted lineups and team news ahead of PBKS taking on GT.
PBKS vs GT pitch report
Punjab Kings are set to take on Gujarat Titans at the Mohali stadium. Established in 1993, the Inderjit Singh Bindra Stadium (also known as the Mohali Cricket Stadium) has a batting-friendly pitch.
However, it is also useful for quick bowlers who often bowl some of their best spells on this pitch.
The average first innings score at Mohali is about 165. However, since we are early into the tournament and the pitches are fresh, we can expect the par score for the pitch to be about 175.
PBKS vs GT live toss
Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first against Punjab Kings.
The GT captain opined that it is a batting-friendly pitch and they would love to chase in the existing conditions.
PBKS skipper Shikhar Dhawan also stated that given a choice he too would have opted to bowl first.
