Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to host Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash.
The Titans head into this fixture on the back of a seven-run win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Despite posting just 135 on the board, GT were able to churn out a win against KL Rahul & Co. courtesy of some fantastic bowling by Mohammad Shami (0/18), Mohit Sharma (2/17) & debutant Noor Ahmad (2/18).
Meanwhile, MI succumbed to their third defeat in six matches as they fell short by 13 runs while chasing a mammoth total of 214 set by Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede on Saturday.
Valiant efforts from Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 26) and Cameroon Green (67 off 43) were not enough as MI kept losing wickets at the other end. Tim David's cameo of 25 off 13 proved to be too little too late.
Here is a comprehensive guide on the pitch report, live toss, predicted lineups and team news as GT take on MI.
