Arjun Tendulkar picked his first-ever IPL wicket against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The speedster got the scalp in the final over of the match as Mumbai Indians beat the hosts by 14 runs.

In the penultimate delivery of the match, Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried to hit the ball over the cover but it went straight to Rohit Sharma's hands as Tendulkar got his maiden scalp in IPL.

How did Arjun Tendulkar perform against SRH?
Mumbai Indians posted a score of 192 after being put in to bat, thanks to Cameroon Green's 64* (40). It was Tendulkar who opened the bowling for MI and bowled two overs in the first powerplay where he gave away 14 runs.
He was then called up by skipper Rohit Sharma to bowl the final over of the game with SRH still requiring about 20 runs to win with two wickets in hand.
Arjun nailed his yorkers wide of the stumps and ended up conceding just 4 runs and picked a wicket.
Overall, he bowled 2.5 overs where he conceded just 18 runs, picked up a wicket and maintained an economy rate of 6.5 .
What did Arjun Tendulkar say after bowling the last over?
Speaking on Star Sports, Tendulkar said,
My plan was to just bowl wide and get the batsmen hitting into the longer side. I was itching to bowl, yes. I love bowling and happy to bowl any time. We [Sachin and him] talk a lot about cricket. We talk tactics and plans. I just focused on my release and the lengths I want to bowl. If it swings, it is a bonus; if it doesn't, so be it.

With Bhuvneshwar Kumar's wicket on Tuesday, Tendulkar went past his father and legendary Indian cricketer Sachin's tally of wickets in the IPL.
Tendulkar who had 154 ODI scalps, failed to take a single wicket in his 78 IPL appearances. His son Arjun has now more wickets than him in the tournament.

Tendulkar was given the new ball and bowled the first over for MI where he conceded just five runs. He did get some shape on his outswingers. His first two overs ended up costing 17 runs after Venkatesh Iyer hit a six and a four in his second over.
