After a highly competitive semifinals, the Women's College World Series final is set as Texas will face Oklahoma in a best-of-3 series.

No. 1 seed Texas advanced to the WCWS championship series for the second times in three years after beating No. 8 seed Stanford 1-0 in the semifinals. The Longhorns' captain Alyssa Washington dived for home plate in the top of the seventh inning, and it proved to be the winning play.

After losing to No. 4 seed Florida on Monday, No. 2 seed Oklahoma beat the Gators 6-5 in extra innings Tuesday as Jayda Coleman homered to give the Sooners the victory. Oklahoma is looking to etch its name in the history books and win its fourth consecutive national championship.

The longtime rivals met in the finals in 2022, and Oklahoma was able to secure the victory. Will Texas get its revenge or will Oklahoma continue its dynasty?
