A potent Texas A&M offense touts three players with north of 20 home runs, including Jace LaViolette (28 HR) and Braden Montgomery (27 HR). On the mound, Evan Aschenbeck (1.66 ERA in 65 IP) has dominated the back-end of games for the Aggies.
The Gators find themselves back in the CWS after finishing as the runners-up in last year's competition. Though regular-season play proved bumpy, Florida has found a new gear in the postseason, eliminating top seeds Oklahoma State and Clemson. The latter occurred on a walk-off in the 13th inning.
All eyes are set to descend upon two-way phenom Jac Caglianone, who has homered four times in the NCAA Tournament, including two blasts in the super regionals.
