It's time for the 2024 Men's College World Series.
Eight teams remain from the original 64-team field as the NCAA baseball tournament shifts to Omaha, Nebraska.
And though there have certainly been plenty of thrilling gameplay and upsets, the field in Omaha is undeniably stacked. Five top-eight seeds — including the top-four overall seeds — are still alive.
But don't overlook the other teams, either. Florida, after finishing as the runner-up in 2023, is finally clicking. NC State flashed its mettle by eliminating Georgia in Athens; Virginia, too, is dangerous.
All of the action gets underway with a doubleheader on Friday, June 14.
