Rocky Top reached the mountain top.
For the first time in program history, Tennessee won the College World Series, taking the final two games of the series against No. 3 Texas A&M to claim the title. The series victory was finalized on Monday with Tennessee winning 6-5.
All year, the No. 1 Volunteers have bludgeoned teams with a lineup that had no weaknesses. Christian Moore, Blake Burke, Billy Amick, and Kavares Tears are all expected to be early draft picks. And that's just the tip of the iceberg for the stellar Tennessee lineup.
Which player wound up winning the Most Outstanding Player honor in 2024? Here's what you need to know.

It was a true tour de force for Dreiling. He became the first player in College World Series history to hit home runs in all three games (the three-game series has existed only since 2003). Improbably, each home run was hit in the seventh inning.
Throughout the entire trip to Omaha, Dreiling had an absurd .542/.586/.958 slash line with three home runs, 11 RBIs, and six runs scored. According to ESPN's Mike Monaco, Dreiling became only the second player in Charles Schwab Field history (since 2011) to bat at least .500 in more than 20 at-bats, joining only Oregon State's Adley Rutschman in 2018.
