The road to the 2024 Women's College World Series is stopping this weekend at the Super Regionals, where 16 teams will compete for eight spots to compete for the national title.
No. 1 Texas is still the favorite to take it home after an impressive showing in the Austin Regional, and No. 2 Oklahoma made it out of the Norman regional unscathed. The Sooners will take on No. 15 Florida State in their Super Regional—a rematch of the 2023 WCWS Championship Series.
The top 11 seeds made it through their respective regionals into the Super Regional round, and two unseeded teams in Arizona and Baylor still have a shot at the WCWS after emerging from their first round of competition. Nonetheless, fans are already looking ahead to the WCWS and already purchasing tickets to the event at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.
