The 17th annual Andre Dawson Classic, highlighting the baseball programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, will take place this weekend.
The round-robin tournament is named after MLB Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, a graduate of Florida A&M University. Dawson, Lou Brock, and Larry Doby are the three Hall of Famers to graduate from an HBCU.
This year's tournament includes seven HBCUs plus the University of Missouri, with games being played at Historic Holman Stadium at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida.
