Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy has scored another goal for his Championship club Huddersfield Town as they chase promotion to the Premier League.

Mooy netted the second goal in Huddersfield's 3-0 win over Norwich City on Wednesday - his fourth league goal for the Terriers since joining them on loan from Manchester City this season.

The Australian's 70th-minute strike came after a one-two with Nahki Wells, who set up Mooy with a backheel.

Huddersfield blitzed Norwich with three goals in seven second-half minutes, with Elias Kachunga and Wells also finding the back of the net.

The win solidifies Huddersfield (74 points) in third place in the Championship with seven games left before the promotion play-offs.

Mooy and Co. are unlikely to catch either Newcastle United (84) or Brighton & Hove Albion (83) in the automatic promotion berths but are almost certain to feature in the promotion play-offs as they have a 10-point gap to seventh-placed Fulham.

In his first season with Huddersfield, Mooy has been brilliant with eight assists and four goals in all competitions.
