We are down to the semi-finals of the Champions League so there aren’t that many sneaky plays left. Only very, very good teams remain and, as such, there aren’t many good matchups either.

Both fixtures feature a prolific attack such as Real Madrid and Monaco versus vaunted defences in Atletico Madrid and Juventus which should make for some fantastic viewing.

Below, you will find a player from each of the remaining four clubs who are vital to their club’s chances of advancing to the final in Cardiff.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Forward, Real Madrid, Price: 9.0, Ownership 49.84%)

Even in what is a “down year” for Ronaldo leads the remaining Champions league players in both goals and assists. In the quarter-finals, he faced a vaunted Bayern Munich defence and put five goals past them and Manuel Neuer.

Now, the Blancos talisman faces an even better Atletico Madrid defence - one that he already scored a hat trick against in La Liga this season. He’s the most expensive player in the Goal game, but that does not make him a bad investment.

Antoine Griezmann (Forward, Atletico Madrid, Price: 8.3, Ownership: 25.09%)

Griezmann has been terrific this season currently raking in the top five in goals scored in La Liga. This week’s opponents, Real Madrid, are very talented but the fact remains that they have only notched one clean sheet in the last 10 matches.

Assuming Atleti do put the ball in the net it’s easy to imagine the Frenchman as being the one who put it there since he’s scored nearly 30% of the club’s goals this season.

Kylian Mbappe (Forward, Monaco, Price: 5.9, Ownership: 7.28%)

The young forward has been on a tear of late with five goals in his last five matches in all competitions. His three goals against Dortmund in the quarter-finals helped secure Monaco’s survival in the tournament. Juventus are obviously tremendous at the back but, considering his low price and ownership, Mbappe is definitely worth the gamble.

Alex Sandro (Defender, Juventus, Price: 6.4, Ownership: 6.71%)

Sandro is a defender in name yet has already racked up five assists in Serie A - a high amongst those in his position. He’s featured regularly in Juventus' last four Champions League matches and is the most in-form defender in the Goal game averaging 7.75 point per game since the knockout stage.

Juventus haven’t conceded in the last eight hours of Champions League play so, if anyone could contain the prolific Monaco attack, it would be them.
