Real Madrid forward Lucas Vazquez has been chosen to start ahead of Karim Benzema in their Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich.

Gareth Bale joins Benzema on the bench, with Isco also starting for Zinedine Zidane's side.

Isco and Lucas join the red-hot Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid's attacking trio, with the Portugal star having scored a remarkable 15 goals in 10 Champions League games this season.

Sergio Ramos returns to Madrid's defence after he was suspended for the team's quarter-final second leg against Juventus while Nacho Fernandez remains sidelined with injury.

For Bayern, David Alaba misses out due to injury, with Rafinha filling in on the left side of defence.

James Rodriguez starts against his former team after he departed Madrid in the summer for a two-year loan with the German champions.

Though Manuel Neuer has returned to training, Sven Ulreich continues to get the call in goal for Bayern.
