Jon Ryan completed 75 percent of his passes during his 12-year NFL career. OK, he was just 3 for 4, but that isn't the point here; the point is that he showed Saturday that he can still sling it.

The former Packers and Seahawks punter is back in the CFL, 14 years after leaving for the States. Playing for his hometown Saskatchewan Roughriders, he dusted off a fake field goal vs. the British Columbia Lions (Ryan was the 'Hawks' holder for years).

The play didn't count because of a penalty, but Ryan showed he still has the touch.

The Regina native last played for the Seahawks in 2017. Prior to this year, his last CFL experience came with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2005.

Oh, and Ryan can still kick it, too. The 37-year-old launched a 77-yarder against the Lions.

Hey, it's football in July. Just getting everyone ready for when the NFL kicks off Aug. 1 in the Hall of Fame Game.
